Check in process was great, staff was super helpful and brought my parking pass out to me on the corner of the street so I could park my car right away. Overall vibe of the hostel is really cool, love the interior decor, super unique. Rooms were small but during the low season, they’re not packed full of people so it does the trick! My only real “complaint” is that there were 2 wifi networks available but neither reached my room. I guess it’s because it was closer to the back of the hostel? When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they basically told me there wasn’t really anything they could do about it so I had to use my cell phone data the whole stay when I wasn’t in the common areas… that was kind of a bummer, especially when you just want to lay in bed and chill for a bit. Otherwise, good place to stay if you’re looking to explore San Diego as it’s very central to a lot of restaurants and bars.

One of the coolest looking hostels I’ve been to. It was a house of ill repute once upon a time and it still have a very classic decor and layout which will transport you back in time in a really cool way. It was a bit hard to find (it’s a very small door between two Italian restaurants). They provided free vodka on our first night there (Saturday) but it was a very low key social vibe and a bit dull so my fiancée and I ended up going out to find a seperate bar crawl. The private room we had was basic but comfortable enough and had a decent amount of space and a small fridge.

Great staff, cool building, coffee was appreciated, cleaned regularly. Room was always freezing and no individual thermostats. If you have asthma and/or are sensitive to the chemicals in cleaning/air freshener products, beware, it's a minefield. There is no outdoor space to retreat/relax. Kitchen loft can fill with gas fumes, or casein fumes if someone's cooking peppers. The fan helps a bit. Sunset tour and ghost tour were fun. Bed was comfy, but I missed my pillow.

Enjoyed my stay. Great location in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter. 4 person room was nice. Bed mattress was only ok, noisy and uncomfortable, maybe time for a new one. Kitchen looks a little messy or disorganized or does it just seem dark. Staff are wonderful, helpful and kind.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
