        Excellent view! Family suite room for 2 adults and 2 children was very good. Breakfast was simply awesome. Catherine is a nice lady and was very helpful. Overall experience was wonderful!

        My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Gizis this week and I can honestly say the service was flawless. The General Manager went above and beyond it all facets of our stay from arranging airport transfers, quad bikes, Island recommendations and an exceptional and genuine approach to making us feel as special as possible as her guests. Our room was serviced by Lilia who is the most delightful lady with such a beautiful personality and ensured our rooms were immaculate each day. The lovely lady in the dining room was also amazing, she made us feel at home and provided great discussions and outstanding food for breakfast. The Gizi crew literally treated us like family and our whole state felt like we were with long term friends as opposed to business. Can't thank the team highly enough and recommend this accommodation wholeheartedly! Many thanks from your favourite Aussies 😊

        Very bad administration and office of this hotel. You can if you book this hotel just hope that they will do you right if something happens in your life that makes it impossible to go on the trip. I wrote to the Tourism department of Greece and made a complaint on a refund i did not get. They told me that I was right and even sent a document to this hotel stating that they should refund me the money. But they refused so beware of this hotel if you want to book it.....

        We loved our stay at Gizis! We came here for our honeymoon and it was a perfect spot for us to relax and enjoy some sunshine and beautiful views. Special shout-out to Andrew, the bartender, for making us feel so welcome and for giving us such great advice and recommendations for our time in Santorini! He truly made our stay amazing.

        Myself and my husband booked to stay here on the first leg of our honeymoon in June '23. The collection service from the airport was very handy (albeit expensive, but that seems to be the norm on the island). Check-in was simple and we were given a menu from a local restaurant who delivered straight to our room as we didn't arrive at the hotel until 9pm. The new bar is a nice touch and was great for a drink while our dinner was being delivered. As others have mentioned, it would have been good to have someone offer to help with our luggage as the steps are steep - but I guess thats the kind of thing you miss out on with a 3-star hotel. The room was lovely but the bathroom was VERY dark! But saying that, it wouldn't put me off staying again. As others have said, the breakfast is disappointing but it's what I expected for this rating of hotel. As for location, it was nice to be right on the walk to Oia. However, don't let online reviews dictate your walk - we were led to believe there was a bus straight back to Imerovigli from Oia which isn't true. Every bus went back to Fira and we had to walk from there - it was a cloudy day so we didn't mind but I can imagine this being unbearable in the midst of summer. The one real negative that we had was the handling of a complaint by the manager. On our second day, we chose to spend the day at the hotel until late afternoon. My husband hung his t-shirt out to dry on the pergola by our hot tub and then left it on the sun beds, but when we returned from drinks approx. 1hr later, his t-shirt was no longer there. During this time, the housekeeping staff had been in to clean the room (why we went to the bar in the first place). We asked reception to check if it had accidentally taken up amongst the other laundry (e.g. towels on the sun bed) and to ask the housekeeping staff to stay on the look out for it. The manager didn't seem at all bothered and we had to ask again the next morning for updates. The other manager (maybe assistant?) was far more helpful but I can't help but feel disappointed by the manager's initial response. Unless a bird flew down and took it, I can't see where else the t-shirt went other than the wash? Even a free drink at the bar would have been a nice token to apologise.. Andrew, the bar tender, really made the stay for us. He was incredibly kind and was great for a chat. They should invest more in the bar to make his life easier and the guest experience even better - e.g. a point of sales at the bar so that those paying by card don't have to go to reception each time. Would I come back? Probably not as there are plenty of other luxury hotels nearby. However, we really enjoyed our stay and having a private hot tub was a nice treat.
