We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Monkey. Everything is near by and there are some really good restaurants around the corner, like the Tandoori palace or the hungry wolf. Not to forget the very cheap and good crystal Restaurant right next to it. The service at the hotel was amazing, we felt welcome from the first second and the rooms are clean and comfy. Would come back every time.

This is a really amazing little hotel right on the beach, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. The staff are sure to answer any questions you may have about the island. Thank you Jude and staff we have had the best stay with you, and we will definitely be back soon!

A nice small hotel with 200m to the beach. The nice atmosphere and the bar with P' June and P' Kwan made me feel very welcomed, anything that I asked for was arranged and they gave information about when and where to go. If you're interested in watching Thai Boxing the arena is just 200m away, if you're into bar life this is also a perfect spot as it's not in the middle of the noise so that you actually can relax at the hotel room. I will definitely come back to Golden Monkey Samui when I return to Samui.

We stayed in the Golden Monkey for 2 nights and loved our stay there. It's in a great location, walking distance to the beach (the beach is beautiful) also very close to the shopping centre. There are nice bars and restaurants in the area, it's a slightly quieter area on Chaweng beach, the late bars and clubs are about a 15 walk up the road. So ideal really as it's better for a good night's sleep but you're still close to all the action. The owner June is really friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a nice size and the bed was very big and comfortable. Thank you so much June and Charcoal for looking after us.
