I spent only one night here but I loved it. The location is incredible, right on the main Square, independence square! Some rooms even face it. The hotel ceiling is incredibly beautiful, imported from France in 1908. There's a Starbucks opposite the hotel. I loved my stay here

The architecture, especially the lobby ceiling, is worth staying here for a night. I didn’t think that the standard room was anything particularly special, and it did have a few details worth noting. The mini-fridge was not working and the air-conditioning made a noise when it was running on high. They have a nice snack bar available 24/7 with delicious coffee, although the door to get in there often jams because you are supposed to push instead of pull and there is no sign on the door that says you need to push. Also, this snack room is not particularly inviting. It would be nice if they had some tables and chairs that you could sit at for journaling, or working on a computer, or if they improved the decor in some way. While I didn’t actually use the gym, I peaked in and it looked quite nice. Be sure to take advantage of your one free ride on the original elevators. They’re gorgeous! Other than that, I recommend taking the beautiful stairs instead of the generic modern elevator. You can’t beat the location right off the Zocalo. I really wanted to eat in the restaurant upstairs, but they only offer an expensive (and abundant) buffet brunch on Sundays, so I wasn’t able to take advantage of the view. I already had plans for brunch someplace else and I just wanted to have a coffee and some fruit , but I wasn’t allowed. That was a big disappointment for me. All the employees were friendly and accommodating, except for my experience in the restaurant.

Often, the value of actual hospitality is underrated in the hospitality industry, and it's overshadowed by fancy facilities and frills. Not at Gran Hotel, where the staff treats you like their own guest. They are warm and will go out of their way to help you out. Oh, and the hotel itself is a heritage site with exceptional facilities & a location to kill for! Absolute, must visit. If I am ever in Mexico City again, I am staying at Gran for sure.

The lobby is the star of the show. It is magnificent. Our room was large with a very tall ceiling. We arrived very early, well before check-in time, and the staff looked after our bags and gave us access to a lounge and toilets. It's right in the historic centre on the main plaza and within reach of transport, parks, and all the things a tourist like us needed.

I loved this experience. I was on vacation with my family and we had the most wonderful relaxing time. Our room had a view of the plaza and it was stunning to see at night. Every morning we had a breakfast buffet on the terrace with fresh juice and food. For a treat we had dinner on the terrace with the most elegant refreshing food I've ever had.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
