This was my first trip to Shanghai, and I couldn't have been happier to have chosen the Grand Central Hotel Shanghai. This classic 5-star hotel is located within easy walking distance of some of Shanghai's most iconic landmarks, such as People's Park and the Shanghai Museum. Despite being a bustling hotel, the reception staff were consistently efficient, professional, and welcoming, providing me with invaluable advice as I navigated this mesmerizing city. The hotel's facilities, including the sparkling indoor pool. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and convenient base from which to explore Shanghai.

Very nice five star hotel - we initially were planning to stay at Elong Hotel, but my US passport had processing issues with the staff and Elong could not accommodate my reservation without a Chinese ID card, so we came here. We are glad that we chose GCH Shanghai for our stay in Shanghai and for my first visit to Shanghai. Because of its location close to the metro, we were able to take the subway to explore a large number of different places in a short period of time such as the famous Pearl Radio & TV Tower, take a cruise down the Huangpu River and admire the classic Shanghai Yuyuan District - to name a few. Nearby, East Nanjing Rd offers a plethora of local Shanghainese street food as well as a premium luxury shopping experience. We were surprised how active the street and environment was even after 11 pm! I will definitely consider booking this five star hotel if I am back in Downtown Shanghai!

Old facility but well maintained. Excellent location within mins walk to Nanjing Street. Service is great here and staff can speak very fluent English. Furthermore, there is a machine for currency exchange in the lobby.

The location is so ideal! Only a few minutes walk to nanjing road. The back of this hotel to the left has the best little dumpling place. The room was ginormous and clean. Highly recommend.

The doormans are nice, but the clerks at the front desk are not hospitable, and they are even uninformative. The service and the breakfast are poor and not five-stars worth.

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
