        Wish I had stayed more than one night here! I had been staying at a much more expensive hotel in Opera and it was nowhere near as good at this hotel. The staff are really polite and helpful and I called down after arriving to see if they had any shaving kits and they immediately provided me with two. The room was upgraded due to availability, for free, which was a bonus. My room had a bath and the bed was massive and really comfy.

        The location is great. The room too. Our stay was excellent, but... one day we got into the room in the evening and saw that our door was completely open. All our personal staff were visible from the corridor and accessible to theft. We complained to the reception, the employee Hasan was rude and at first did not believe our words. I had to argue and prove that the problem exists. The next day we returned to the room and there was a repairman in our room. He hung a fire safety sign with a hammer drill. The table with our things was covered in dust, and we had to wait until the employee finished. We went to the reception and Hasan was there again. All he said was “I will talk to the man.” There was no apologies, Hasan said we were just seeking a refund. The conversation turned into a very rude form, Hasan constantly interrupted and said: if you don’t like something, then leave the hotel. We were unhappy, Hasan said that he is the owner of the hotel and told us to write to booking about our problems. If you have no incidents, your vacation will be perfect — but in any problem, be prepared to be accused of extorting money and told that there are no problems. We strongly don’t recommend this hotel.

        I booked double superior room on the top floor (6). Soundproof you can barely hear people and traffic from the streets when all windows are closed but you can hear people next room speak when they return back at night and the noise from room cleaning service in the morning. It does not bother me much as I sleep late and room service is after 10am. There's a small fridge to store water and some goodies (fruits, chocolate...) a kettle to boil water for tea and groceries market is right a few steps from the hotel. Walking fast to the Seine is about 30 minutes, same time to le Jardin des plants ( very beautiful and relaxing) 45 minutes to le marais hotspot and 1 hour to gallery lafayette. You can take Metro or bus that are very near the hotel. Prices are reasonable for the comfort and safety you feel. It's not a luxury hotel but I have almost what I need. Staff is wonderful and kind. Hope they forgive my talking trying to practice French language that is not good. Highly recommend.

        Stayed two night, overal service was good, clean and tidy, we had a double bed, 4 pillows, carpet floor, bath inside bathroom, fridge, tiny vault and waterboiler for tea, no noise from other rooms. Room 36. We stayed in summer, yet extra blanket in room closet. Would visit again.

        It is a beautiful and cozy hotel. The staff is great and it is really worth its price. We took the breakfast and it was good but there are many places to eat nearby. It is in a safe zone and you can calmly walk day or night. It is really close to the metro station and has a bus stop almost across the street. If you like walking, the Notre Damme cathedral is less than 40 minutes away (walking slowly) with beautiful scenery. The view was gorgeous from our room. Highly recomended.
