        Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights - and we were very impressed with the hotel. Rooms seemed to be recently renovated + it was very clean and organized. The staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Location was very central and very convenient to reach some of the amazing sights in Lisbon + connect with tourist options for visiting the city. Very pleased with this stay.

        Fine place to stay at a reasonable price. Very old, with many features (beds, showers, windows) being noticeably dilapidated, but clean and functional nonetheless. Great location. My main issue is the service. My group was charged for 2 breakfasts that we did not have. The manager was not present for the duration of our 3 day stay, and all other employees seem to have little to no power to do anything other than check you in and out. I emailed the manager using the business card I was provided at the front desk about these incorrect charges, but despite a follow-up a week later, I never received a response. Fortunately, my credit card company was able to provide a refund, but beware of shady business practices. I can validate the accessibility concerns others here have mentioned. All in all, a fine place to stay for a couple of days, but I wouldn't recommend.

        Basic hotel but right in the heart of the old town. Good points, it was spotless, the staff were lovely and breakfast basic continental but nice. Mattress was horrendous, so hard and the bed collapsed but they sorted it immediately. There were stairs up to floor one where the tiny lift was so if you've mobility problems don't go.

        Booked this place because it had a good cancelation policy, but it turned out to be a nice barebones hotel for a quick stay. They held our luggage until check in and the room bathroom was pretty nice. Some downsides - the toilet seat was just totally busted, and beds were a bit hard, but for the price, it was totally acceptable. For a 1 night stay, the room was clean and serviceable. Can't comment on breakfast or long term stay as we just used it to crash for the night.
