Overall a good experience if travelling on a budget. We stayed in shared accommodation, though there isn't much of a community atmosphere here. The shared toilets, showers and bathrooms were all nice; there seemed to be no towels for the shower though so make sure you bring your own. The rooms were small and had no locked space for luggage. The bunkbed was pretty hard, though this is typical of Japanese hostels. The pillows also were hard and felt like they were filled with rice, but this is fairly typical from hostels also. The air-conditioning in the room worked well and the free Wi-Fi was good. One of our travelers happened to lose their key for the room and he was able to get it replaced at the front desk for a 3000 yen fee which seemed quite reasonable. Location is fantastic, the nearest station is basically just across the road and it is within walking distance of convenience stores and restaurants.

They have every basic item travellers need. Not so wide room, decent common room. There is a coin laundry machine which is 24hour, but you need to bring your own deterjent. Location was great and breakfast was okay.

You can't beat the location. About a 2-3min walk to the train station which is a JR line. Ueno is a great station in general to get around. I booked a private room - The room itself is tiny as expected but the bathroom was really nice. Only downside is the bed was too firm for my liking but not bad. Great place though. I actually didn't hear any of the other guests so the walls seem pretty thick. 9.5/10, I will be staying here again!

Fantastic hotel/hostel. We booked a private room for 2, which turned out to be an entire room with 6 bunk beds (like a capsule hotel). We thought this is a great stay for travel for bigger groups. Still a very nice, clean, comforable stay for a couple (if you are okay with sleeping in your own little capsule). PROS: - Clean rooms - VERY clean communal toilets, showers and sinks - approx 5 minute walk to the station and a 10 minute walk to a shopping street (we had very good tsukemen in this shopping street) - staff were polite and welcoming Maybe CONs: - Our own fault, we forgot we booked the entire room and that it was a capsule like hostel, so we weren't sure if there were others in our room when we got in. Easy fix- we asked. Overall: 9.5/10 Great budget stay in Japan. It was our first hotel in Japan, and it didn't dissapoint. Very clean, great location.

We were 3 and we book a room for ourselves. It is the perfect hotel for those looking for a hotel to meet other people. They have a whole floor only for women. The showers, the toilets and the rooms were very clean. There is the option of taking breakfast. The breakfast is very “western” toasts with cereal and spreads. Nothing crazy. There is a convenience store close by where you can buy all sorts of Japanese snacks. The metro station is very close by, perfect for moving around Tokyo.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
