Reception were very helpful, but poor service in restaurant –we had to get our own water twice, even with just one other table. Prices about double what they should be. To top it off, a very weak and outdated food offering, and lots of penny pinching – cheap wine and not even allowed to taste... I won't be returning.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for quiet days. The staff were super nice and helpful. We booked the Japanese style room and were overwhelmed! It was a dream, beautifully furnished, very comfortable bed and an amazing view of Mount Fuji. The restaurants are rather expensive. But there are also good places to eat outside. The onsens were totally fine and super relaxing. You also have the harbor for a boat tour and the train station right next to the hotel. For us 5 out of 5 stars.

We stayed here partly because it is highly rated and partly because I noticed a travel agency had it in their 14-day program for Japan as ideal accommodation for Hakone. However, after our visit (three nights) we were forced to conclude that there must be better accommodation in the wider Hakone area and for much better value too. We spent a lot more here (twice as much in most cases) than the accommodation we had in Tokyo, Kyoto and other major cities we visited, and it just didn't measure up. Pros: - The hot springs here are genuinely nice and if you can/want to use them, a big plus. - The guest lounge has free non-alcoholic drinks on tap, with quite good coffee. Cons - Our bathroom was in a really poor state, with black mold in the grout around the bathtub that was difficult to ignore. - The on-site restaurants seem overpriced and felt tourist-trappy. - The service here was not bad, per se, but it was also not friendly. This surprised me since our approach was polite and respectful, albeit we do not speak Japanese beyond the most basic of basic phrases. We had encounters that were made more awkward than they needed to be when we had issues with our room.

Great location on the bank of Lake Ashi. Many rooms, including the public rooms have Mount Fuji views (when there is no cloud). The staff don’t speak the best English, but they are extremely willing and helpful. Lovely breakfast on tables with linen tablecloths and properly laid - this made a change from the ‘canteens’ of many other 4 star hotels. Lovely onsen too.

This hotel is old style one but with great space ! We stayed at second floor , can view lake & Mt.Fuji behind other mountains! You got welcome drink , free breakfast, very quiet , and hot springs on third floors, came around 7:30 pm no more there , got very relaxing time by myself ! Their restaurant is overpriced, we ordered fish / hamburgers , come with appetizers/ cold soup / dessert/ coffee = US $ 70 per person , size is pretty small , and test just ok , skip restaurant there .

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
