Me and my parents stayed here for a week in two rooms that had a shared kitchen and dining area (it was like an apartment). The villa itself was very clean and nice, everything looked fresh new, AC and ceiling fan were in each bedroom, there was even a washing machine we could use. The owners themselves are nice and hospitable. This villa is located further from the main road (roughly 7-10 minutes walking), but that was a plus to us because it was quiet and peaceful during the night. We really loved staying here!

We spent about 10 days at Halcyon Rest end of December 2019 and beginning of January 2020 during our family trip to Sri-Lanka. Villa is located in a very quiet place in the forest parcel, very close to Hikkaduwa beach (max 10 mins by slow walking pace). Villa was sparkling clean, fully equipped with all facilities like presented in the description. Our host was extremely pleasant and helpful. He brought us around Hikkaduwa several times to various locations with his Tuk-tuk free of charge and provided useful advice on the places to go and eat. Typical Sri-Lanka dinner provided by them was a great surprise and super tasty! We definitely recommend as a place to stay and would like to come back again!

We enjoyed our stay in Halsyon rest very much. The house is new, equipped wirh everything necessary. Great location, just fiew minutes walk to the beach, lagoon with turtles. Also near the street with cafes and shops. We liked nice gargen near the house, beautiful flowers grow everywhere. Special thanks to the owners of the house, they were very friendly and always ready to help. So the place is highly recommended!

Very hospitable and pleasant hosts. Cozy house with 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. There is everything you need, air conditioning in the rooms, hot water in the shower. From each room you can exit to the courtyard. 5 minutes to the beach. There are many cafes and shops nearby. We'll be happy to return.

Very beautiful, comfortable, cozy, clean house. There is everything you need. Beaches, shops, transport are within walking distance. Caring, hospitable, smiling and positive hosts. Wonderful holiday!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
