        Stayed 2 nights, very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and always helpful and available. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and wonderful. My husband likes a cooler pool and this one has a chiller! Not too cold but very refreshing since it is South Florida pools get very hot naturally. Lots of families here too. Walking distance to a very nice casual sports bar restaurant and just 2 blocks to another and a nice 20-30 walk to CocoWalk in Coconut Grove. If it’s a nice evening the walk isn’t too long if you have the right walking shoes. Will be staying again!

        I would stay here just for the service! The hotel is very nice too. We had a flight from St Croix to Denver that was delayed 5 times for a total of a 5 hour delay. We got a hotel voucher because to stay in Miami and the young lady Patrice working the front desk was wonderful. She had us checked in and when I told her she asked if I needed anything and I did because the airline still has my luggage, she gave us toothpaste, toothbrushes and extra towels. That truly made my day. Thanks Patrice and sorry if I spelled your name wrong.

        Very disappointed with this hotel and it's unwillingness to honor Hampton Inn's payment policy. This is a company that typically accepts prepaid credit cards provided there are enough funds on the card for the deposit. They refused. Its is my understanding that Hampton Inn accepts such payment and so I focused my hotel search on this and a few other companies who have such a policy. I found out after booking that they are uniquely unwilling to honor such payment, meaning all that time was wasted. Have a stable, crystal clear payment policy. It's very simple.

        The overall experience was nice. Despite one of the elevators being questionable, I never needed to use the stairs. Breakfast offering was reasonable and fresh fruit and eggs as well as standard buffet like setup was all delicious. The WiFi being unprotected was disconcerting and never felt safe to use. It was confusing how member benefits were being pitched/sold but the offered amenities appeared free anyway. Would stay here again, but will be bringing my dedicated hotspot next time.

        We stayed a week here during our vacation to Miami. We chose this hotel because it was in a great location in Coconut Grove and was pretty affordable compared to other hotels in the area. Checking in was quick and easy since we had reserved our room in advance. I was a little surprised to find out that they charge $20 per day for parking. No where did it mention having to pay for parking when I reserved the room, so it would have been nice to know that in advance. They charge a $100 room deposit for incidentals, and they just took the parking fee from the deposit at check out. Each morning, a pretty descent breakfast is served downstairs, with a lot of options to choose from. It's all included with the room, so we ate breakfast each morning at the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us. The bathroom looked to be recently updated. The walk-in shower was great! They only clean the room every 3rd day, which I thought was a great idea since that means we won't be disturbed by the housekeeper each morning. You can request new towels or ask for your bed sheets to be changed at any time. We called the front desk once for more towels, and they sent them up to our room very quickly. There are 2 reasons I did not give 5 stars. For one, they only had one elevator in service since the other one was out of service our entire stay. Waiting for the single elevator in a 6 story, busy hotel was more than a little frustrating. We waited 13 minutes one morning to get on the elevator while everyone was trying to get down to the lobby for breakfast. The other reason for only 4 stars is an incident I had with one of the staff. We decided to go swimming one afternoon at the pool. A hurricane was expected to make landfall in upper Florida, and Miami was expecting to get a lot of rain and strong gusty winds. However, the day was hot and perfect for a swim. There were a couple of others in the pool also. All of the pool furniture was stacked in a corner, so I went and got a chair and table we could put our belongings on. That's when one of the hotel staff came and told me with a mildly rude tone of voice that I shouldn't touch things and that they were preparing for the storm and that's the reason they were all stacked in the corner. I apologized but also told her that maybe they should put a sign up to inform others since there were other people there doing the same. I explained that we were only going to be at the pool for 20 or 30 minutes, and I would gladly put all the furniture back in the corner when we were done. That's when she became very rude and spoke to me like a child. The entire confrontation was uncalled for. She eventually came and put caution tape around the furniture and a little sign. In the end, the storm was very mild in Miami. Other than that one encounter, all of the hotel staff were friendly and courteous. I recommend the hotel to anyone looking to vacation in Miami. It's in Coconut Grove and very close to downtown, so it's in a convenient location for tourists. It's much more affordable than some of the comparable hotels in the area. We look forward to visiting again in the future.
