We stayed here on the way to a cruise. The price for the location was reasonable. Front desk was amazingly helpful. Be nice and people are nice back. Activities within walking distance were excellent. 5 min walk to the Cruise Terminal. Breakfast was good. Overall recommend, especially if going cruising. Front desk was amazingly helpful.

CAREFUL!! Do not stay here unless you know for certain you will have a room at the VERY front of the hotel. If not, you will be dealing with constant train and trolley noise. The hotel is literally right next to the train tracks and roughly 70% of the rooms are subject to the ridiculous train noise. I had to change rooms twice! My first room was at the very back RIGHT next to the train tracks. I had them move me to another room but that didn't help much and I got very little sleep. The next day I got them to move me to the front of the hotel (where the window faces the bay) and it was TREMENDOUSLY better. I wouldn't stay in the other rooms if they were free! The trolleys run very often and then the main train track is next to it for Amtrak, etc. So much train noise and it is unbearable unless you get a very front room.

Christopher Soriano, assistant manager, was great checking us in. Excellent customer service. The room was clean and when we needed any support they were on top of it. The sound of the train lulled us to sleep during our 4 night stay. Breakfast was awesome and the access to coffee and water at anytime was excellent. The location of the hotel is superb as it afforded us the ability to walk to eat, let the kids play at the park and hang out at the beach. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to all our friends 🧡! We had a wonderful stay, thank you Hampton Inn to you and ALL your friendly staff 👏

My stay at the Hampton in San Diego was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel boasts a modern and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The room was not only spacious and impeccably clean but also well-equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The staff, including Sales Manager Rachel, truly made the experience exceptional. Rachel's warmth and accommodating nature added a personal touch to the service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. The complimentary breakfast was a delightful bonus, offering a variety of options to start the day on the right note. The location is also convenient, with easy access to key attractions and transportation, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. I highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton in San Diego for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and the exceptional hospitality provided by Rachel and the rest of the staff. It's a place where you not only feel like a valued guest but also feel right at home.

Had a wonderful two night stay at Hampton Inn downtown SD. Location can’t be beaten in Little Italy, close to so many wonderful restaurants and places to see. Rooms are spacious, beds are clean and comfortable. The hydration area in the lobby with iced water, coffee and hot tea is a very nice setup when we come back for breaks in between destinations. What sets this property apart is the customer service. We had a minor issue at check in and without much expectation brought it up. The hotel staff team of Marisol, Miguel and Vanessa and manager Chris went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue to our utmost satisfaction. They made us feel totally welcome and valued, and earned our highest recommendation. We’ll definitely be back!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
