An exceptional hotel in the heart of the touristy location in Melaka. Well kept rooms with service excellence. A must stay in Melaka.

Stayed here from 4/3 to 6/3 and it was a rather pleasant experience. The staff were friendly. However, I would recommend people to stay at Heeren Palms instead as HSH is not very family or elderly friendly. There are stairs in the room which is quite steep, making it difficult for people to walk up and down. Especially since the toilet is one floor down. Although the bedroom is nice and comfortable, the toilet however, was a disaster. I booked a family room, so it was quite frustrating when there was no shower door as the water was splashing everywhere. The floors and even the one outside of the toilet was wet. Since there ware 4 people using one toilet, the floor mat became soaked after the 2 users. The housekeeping staff somehow did not want to give us a second mat and kept insisting that they want to exchange floor mats instead. Apparently, they encountered instances where people would steal the floor mats so they were reluctant to give us another one. We tried explaining to them that there were 4 people using the toilet so we had to have 2 so that the floor would not be wet and slippery. But they insisted on us only having one mat. There was also some black powder in one of the blankets. The hotel also had serious mosquito problems and kept buzzing around us. An auntie in one of the nearby stores informed us that we should feedback to the hotel staff if there are many mosquitoes in the hotel as it could cause a serious problem. Other than the toilet issue, the room was fine. The breakfast at the Heeren Palms was quite good. The chicken was well marinated and gave off a string and delicious taste. The coconut rice and fried rice (on different days) were also really nice. I would definitely recommend staying at the Heeren Palms Hotel especially if one prefers no stairs in their room and a shower door. They also have nice amenities in the Heeren Palms side with nice decorations.

The hotel has a good rating, I don't know why. First the bathrooms are not clean. The hair of the guests who were in the room before are still there. There are two of us in the room and we would like a second blanket. Unfortunately this is not possible, I would have to pay a whole extra bed for a second blanket! That is absurd. The staff at the hotel would be willing to help, they are really nice but they are not allowed by the management. The housekeeping staff are not even allowed to decide on a blanket. What nasty and inflexible management. I wish all employees that they find a job at a better place quickly. I really feel sorry for them. I've stayed in hotels on 5 continents, in luxurious hotels and in cheap hostel or homestays, but I've never experienced that you can't get a second blanket. The guest does not seem to be the priority here. This is definitely my last time here, not in Malacca but in this hotel.

Good experience but if you have oldies or babies, you should note that the bathroom is located within the room but on one level down... It did get troublesome to go down for every hand wash or pee run! I opted for two king beds so there was no room to sit on the main floor... But amenities are good and the location of the property is fantastic. Service is great, although you may need to run across the street for checkin/checkout and reception service. For the price, will recommend this place, but if you have the budget, do look at Heeren Palm Suites or their other properties in the same neighborhood.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
