        We loved this place. Clean new. Lovely staff who mind their own business unless asked. Something. Dead central in Liverpool like 60 seconds walk into the Center. Where you’ll be greeted by Liverpool’s proud street beggars. It’s never money for a hostel. Never. And it’s never money for food. It’s for drugs. I should know having held this infamous position on the streets of London many many years back. Anyway the hotel is splendid. The lift has a mind of its own but it’s more fun than frustrating. Sadly they have no restaurant to serve breakfast etc but for 55 a night it’s a smashing place

        Good budget hotel if you just need somewhere to lay your head at night. The location is excellent, it is also situated right beside James St. train station (you can't hear any noise from it). The room was a decent size for the price and had 2 double beds.There was no heating or hot water in our room, which didn't make our stay comfortable so we spent most of our time out of our room. Our tv also didn't work. We have since read many reviews of people who experienced the same issues as us, prior to our stay, so it appears the hotel are aware but are not fixing the issues. The lady who checked us out didn't bat an eyelid when we reminded her there was no hot water or heating in room 508. I would not recommend this hotel to those who intend to spend a significant amount of time in the hotel for these reasons. If the owners of this hotel invested money into fixing the heating issues and added proper food / beverage facilities, this hotel would be a real gem.

        Nice room in the hotel.only down fall the place stank of weed which is not nice.they where smoking it right outside the hotel.had to tell the security guard that the lift stank of weed.its disgusting.plus having a shower there wasn't the best water everywhere even on low power. TV was so terrible in the room 424. That we had to watch TV on my phone. They need to sort it out. It's shame last time we stayed there it was nice stay we had.

        Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in The windows don’t open for starters and air con is broke There’s no fridge in the rooms The first to the 3rd floor is occupied by the councils homeless ^guests^ There are noises from loud music to people kicking off And drunks and people doing drugs at the side of the hotel before James st train station The staff have real bad attitude problems there rude and aggressive one member off staff screamed at my little boy and then proceeded to threaten my ex partner The only good thing about the hotel was the maintenance feller barry he’s the only reason I’m giving this place one star I made a complaint to the management and was met with oh sorry and please don’t leave a review Avoid at all costs pay extra and. Get a decent hotel

        Great hotel, if you don't want an expensive hotel this is great. Location is brilliant. And staff are amazing. I didn't get the girls name that worked early on the 22nd and 23rd. But she was lovely to myself and 2 kid's.
