Stopped in here for a drink on the way back from Little Adams peak. The owners were absolutely delightful and the place looked really nice. We had passion fruit juice from their fruit growing within sight across the road, and they threw in some delicious pancakes which was a lovely surprise. Also they had a really cute puppy which they brought down for a cuddle!

Nice hostel located outside the busy center of Ella (15 minutes walk) but close from Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. I stayed in a 6 people bed room with bathroom inside (for 1200 LKR/night). The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Just outside is the little common area so it can be noisy at times. They have a large balcony outside with a view on the forest (great to take the free breakfast). There is a small but good place to eat right at the bottom of the hostel.

Excellent stay at Hi Lanka! I stayed there with a friend in August 2018; it had only just been opened in Ella one month earlier. The rooms are clean and cool, comfy beds- and the breakfast was good; well worth the money we paid! And the manager is lovely! He cooks individual breakfsats every morning on request for everyone, and he was very helpful with places to go and routes to take in Ella. The hostel is very close to Little Adams peak, only a few hundred metres, and it's located up high with a veranda so has lovely views of the hills and trees! I recommend for everyone to stay at Hi Lanka Ella!

Really lovely hostel. The owner is very friendly and was accommodating during the imposed curfew at our time of stay. Great area to sit and watch people whilst you have their breakfast. There is a kitten and dogs too. Located a little bit of a walk from the towns main nightlife and closer to Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. It's more quiet at night which is great if you wanted to get sleep. My one complaint would be that the bathroom in our dorm room wasnt cleaned the whole time that we were there so it went from being spotless so gross in 3 days.

Best location way bettween Ella market and Adam's peak base road. Close to nine arch bridge. Best breakfast provided. Friendly staff. 4 sharing good rooms. Have kitchen. Rate is good 6$. Best part is view from balcony. ❤️

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
