The location was excellent, easy stroll into town and close to Victoria Park. The staff were very welcoming and all really friendly and helpful. Our room was really spacious and a nice bathroom although, I did have to ask how to get the hot water going but they sorted it promptly and I got a really hot shower. The hotel grounds were beautifully kept. The only small negative was a group of 8 women staying in the same side of the building as us who were really noisy until after midnight, not the hotels fault but there isn't much sound proofing between the rooms to avoid disturbance from loud guests.

It's a beautiful small cottage. Siva, hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. However, they can improve a lot on food. I would appreciate more variety in the menu. In summary, my stay was enjoyable, but there were a few areas where improvements could be made. Nevertheless, I would consider staying here again in the future.

We had a great family vacation at this beautifully designed cottage at the heart of Nuwaraeliya town just two days ago. From the time we checked-in, everyone was so welcoming and nice. We had our 2 year old toddler with us and the staff always went above and beyond to prepare her meals just the way we wanted whenever we requested something done. Entire team including Frank, Ajith, Siva and Dilshan were very polite, attentive and great at their service. Food was really nice, rooms were so spacious, clean and beautifully designed in the British style and they have a beautifully maintained garden space with a breathtaking view. Our stay at Hill Cottage in Nuwara Eliya was a delightful and unforgettable experience. Situated in a quite and beautiful area near the hills but placed conveniently near to the city as well. The Room was clean and spacious with nice views. The garden was kept nicely. Kudos to Shiva and Ajith for the excellent service! Recommend for a group or a family trip in Nuwaraeliya. P. S. Try their milk tea! 👌🏾

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
