        It was quite a pleasant stay. Clean rooms, friendly reception staff, breakfast not very varied, but everything was fresh and delicious. A very pleasant atmosphere at the pool. Fitness room, massage. A minus would be the robes... I asked the reception for slippers and robes. We waited 15 minutes for them to look for them, but we were asked to go up to the rooms because they will be brought to us there. After more than 30 minutes, someone came and brought us towels, because there were no robes, and those towels were of extremely poor quality, they broke very easily. Our bad luck. I would have liked the robes and slippers, as well as other personal hygiene items to be found in the room. Overall it was an interesting experience. I recommend!

        Average room, meaning nothing too exciting, and nothing you'll be unhappy with. Comfortable beds, continental breakfast, pool, and gym. The location isn't too far from the city centre, you can get there by bus or bus and tram if you don't have a personal vehicle or are willing to use taxi services. You can also use the courtesy van service to the tram line, then the tram to the city centre. The bedside tables were too low for my liking, however. Overall, I'll give this hotel a 3 out of 5 star rating. If you're an English speaker only and don't understand Italian, then this hotel should be your first choice.

        We loved this hotel and it is in the way for public transportation so it is very convenient. There’s a plaza with lots of shop just beside, you must visit for shopping and souvenirs. Way better prices than Rome shops or downtown Florence shops. People were nice and helpful and reception helped us by providing the tickets for public transportation. They also had shuttle to a nearby station. I would definitely recommend and would definitely visit if I ever go again.

        Overall, a decent experience, but for a Hilton level hotel this was sub-par. Bed was very comfortable, room was fine overall, but the heat situation was not great, rooms were very warm, and if you opened a window it shut the whole system down, even having the deal adjust the temperature down did nothing, forcing us to keep the window open and hear all the street noise as well as the smell of wood-burning stoves. Also, not a huge fan of the window not having any sort or screen. These were massive windows, birds could easily fly in. Food was fine for breakfast. Location is definitely further from attractions, approx 20-30 min depending upon on traffic to city center. Staff was very friendly, no issues there. The view from our room of the city is excellent as well. I just expect more from a Hilton, this really should be considered more a Double-tree or Garden Inn level.

        During our trip to Firenze, we stayed at the Hilton Metropole during our last 5 nights. We selected this location because of its close proximity to the airport. We had our own transportation & the charge to park our vehicle at the Hilton was 10€ a night which is very affordable for a parking garage.. There’s a shopping center with restaurants nearby which is convenient to walk to and extremely affordable. The pool is not free & this location did not have a business center at the time of our stay. Overall, this location is a nice retreat away from the tourist areas of Firenze & I felt the cost for 5 nights & 3 rooms were reasonable.
