        We stayed at this HGI due to its location, not to the airport but to family we were visiting in Chicago. We were lucky enough to have a suite, the extra room was brilliant. Unfortunately, the couch was uncomfortable, old and worn-out. Would look more at home in a second-hand store. Hate to think about sleeping on it. Nice to have the extra room and tv. Shower has horrible low water pressure and could use some mold cleaning. Bed and sheets were very good. Shout out to room cleaning crew. Shower gel bottle was empty in our room on arrival. I asked front desk to get it refilled, they promised someone would come to the room soon, never did show. Cleaning lady got it done in 5 minutes the next morning. We didn’t have room service during the time we were there but she was always happy to give me coffee etc for the next day. I used the gym a few times, not to big, not to small. There were 3 treadmills, 1 wouldn't start the other 2 the TV had bad picture and no sound on the personal TV’s (via headphones). I tried one of the cycle machines and it seemed fine.

        Great hotel. They focus on details here. Fully stocked coffee in room and quiet close doors. A big surprise was the food. The restaurant was great! A little slow if you are in a hurry but worth the wait. If Ernesto is the chef don’t go anywhere else. Great location if you’d flying out of Midway.

        My stay was pleasant but all I’m going to say is y'all should train the front desk staff in hospitality. The attitude on the night clerk, African American lady with short blonde bob, was atrocious. People act like kindness isn’t free. I’ll never get why people even work if doing your literal job seems like such a bother. Aren’t hotels in the hospitality industry? 🤦🏻‍♀️

        I don't get where the negative reviews are coming from, but we had a great stay at this hotel. Had a list minute flight change that ended up giving us two nights in Chicago, booked this hotel due to its proximity to Midway. Price was great, hotel shuttle back and forth was a breeze and the hotel and room were clean so you cant really ask for anything more than that. There are a couple of places to eat real close.

        This is a very convenient location close to the airport. Service and staff are all very nice. The only reason that I would take 1 star away is that they could keep Gluten Free bread/muffin in their breakfast and be more inclusive of their clients with allergies. I get those at Marriott hotels (I have Celiac disease). We did not use the pool so can’t say anything about that.
