My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience! Not too sure why this hotel doesn’t have a higher rating. Check in was a pleasant breeze and the staff was bubbly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable! Pool seemed nice but we didn’t use it. The shuttles into downtown were great and we used it a few times. Please note you have to get a ticket if you want to reserve a spot on the shuttle!The highlight of our stay was Terry, the concierge guy… AKA Mr. Key West! He went above and beyond to give us all the knowledge we needed to know on key west. He booked us an amazing sunset snorkeling boat trip where we made lots of friends. The boat trip was the best part of our trip. Our interactions with Terry made our trip extra special. I’m literally coming back to this hotel just to hang out with Terry more. Don’t forget to stop by and meet him.

Our experience at this hotel was less than acceptable. Starting with check in, we got there at 6 pm and were told our room wasn’t ready yet. The staff offered no accommodation after explaining we had just been in the car for 5 hours to get there. The hotel gives you a schedule of the shuttle but doesn’t tell you that you need a reservation to take the shuttle to Duval street. Our shuttle driver was absolutely horrible to us because we didn’t put money in his tip bucket (my mother in law had his tip a few people behind us). There are no reservations for the way back so every hour you have 30+ people fighting to get onto the bus. It’s unorganized and chaotic. Thankfully on the way back we had a friendly shuttle driver. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I don’t think the mattress have ever been switched out. It was like sleeping on rocks. On the next day, housekeeping didn’t come until close to 5:30 pm after we had already returned for the day and were trying to get ready for dinner. Breakfast is not included despite paying $600+ a night. I will say the pool area is nice. The bartender is very friendly and the drinks were delicious. We will definitely not be coming back here after the ridiculous service issues we experienced.

Even though we booked a room weeks in advance and I am a Hilton Honors member, they didn’t have a room for us when we arrived. I was informed by the desk staff that this hotel had overbooked on purpose….apparently a regular practice. They finally found somewhere to put us and then the next day they tried to move us to the type of room. I had reserved. It reeked of cigarettes. The rooms are drab, strangely decorated and housekeeping will not come during your stay. If you need anything you have to ask at the front desk. On the upside … many of the people working here are very nice and there is a shuttle that will take you back-and-forth to downtown. Also… they just put new mattresses on the beds.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Key West! The room and grounds were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The employees made our stay much better. They were professionals that cared about our needs. The breakfast was great. Rooms were big and well stocked. The pool and fitness center was not crowded. Even the parking lot view was a great view of palm trees and sunsets.We will definitely be back!

Unpleasant Experience at this Hotel I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with the overall quality of service. From the moment I checked in, it became apparent that my stay would be far from the relaxing and enjoyable experience I had anticipated. Firstly, the check-in process was incredibly slow and inefficient. Despite having made a reservation well in advance, the staff seemed unprepared, resulting in a prolonged wait and a lack of the promised room amenities. This lack of attention to detail set a disappointing tone for the rest of my stay. The room itself was a major source of disappointment. Not only was it poorly maintained, with visible signs of wear and tear, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, and the towels provided appeared to be worn and stained. Such conditions are unacceptable for a hotel that positions itself as a retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. Moreover, the noise levels within the hotel were excessive, preventing any chance of a peaceful night's sleep. The walls seemed paper-thin, allowing every sound from adjacent rooms and hallways to permeate into my space. This constant disturbance severely impacted my ability to unwind and enjoy my stay. The dining experience was another letdown. The restaurant staff appeared disinterested and unresponsive, and the quality of the food did not match the high prices. In addition, the limited menu options failed to cater to a variety of dietary preferences, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall culinary offerings. Attempting to address these concerns with the hotel staff proved to be a frustrating endeavor. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, the response was apathetic at best. The lack of genuine concern for guest satisfaction further highlighted the hotel's disregard for providing a positive experience. Also the PICTURE DO NOT REALLY MATCH THE HOTEL and the rooms are in a separate building and I was asking some questions and the staffs were shake there had like there annoyed and THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE HILTON RULE. Please trust me and go to a different hotel. But the only kind man was the manager the manager was funny but the rest of the things was horrible. In conclusion, my stay at this Hotel was marred by subpar service, a poorly maintained room, disruptive noise levels, and unsatisfactory dining options. I strongly urge the management to reevaluate their commitment to customer satisfaction and take immediate steps to address the issues outlined. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to others seeking a genuinely tranquil and enjoyable retreat. I hope this helps.
