        We Thoroughly ENJOYED our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hollywood CA. Rooms and facilities were top notch. Everything very clean and well kept. We Greeted at the front desk buy two very nice gentleman Juan and Markus. Juan checked us in and was exceptionally congenial. GREAT GUY and was extremely HELPFUL! KUDOS! Check out was a Breeze. We were checked out by the manager Tim. Also very nice. All desk personnel were great. I was glad I did not encounter that lady who has garnered all the negative reviews here. Before booking I felt somewhat apprehensive about staying in a hotel in this area. But after staying I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel. We felt very safe!

        I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood. The location was perfect, with easy access to major attractions. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a great space to relax after a day of exploring. The amenities, including the fitness center and on-site restaurant, were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view from my room. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.         My wife and I stayed here for our first visit to LA and loved it. The hotel was conveniently located to a lot of sights in Hollywood, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and cozy. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were fantastic and very relaxing. The hotel was quiet, and it was a very relaxing stay. I would HIGHLY recommend it.

        Very surprised as I have stayed at many Hilton properties over the years and this one by far was the worst. The rooms and hallways were shoddy. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and neither bathroom was up to par. In one room the ceiling over the shower was peeling and cracking and the shower head was disgusting. In the second room the bathroom wasn’t much better. The shower had black spots in it(not really sure what they were) and the shower head was also disgusting. We tried to clean the shower head with Lysol wipes but that did no good. After the first night, the maid came in and barely cleaned. I traveled with 4 kids and we had eaten in the room the night before and after the maid “cleaned” you could still see grease from the food all over the counter top. The fridge in one of the rooms smelled like onions as soon as we opened it, like food had been sitting in it for weeks. Thank goodness my mom had Lysol wipes and we cleaned it ourselves to get the smell out. Again, housekeeping is not sufficient, had they cleaned the fridge before we arrived we would have never smelled that. Lastly, valet is 24/7 but when we arrived at 1pm on Sunday, no one was around. We parked our car ourselves and then had the front desk staff asking us if we valeted a car during the checkin process. This is a hotel I would never recommend. Would give this hotel a 0 rating if I could. My entire family Was disappointed with this stay.

        Sylvia ALMOST ruined our stay (as reported by others too it seems). She was rude and went out of her way to be unhelpful. She refused to link my Hilton account to my check-in (wifi was requesting link and free waters are nice) and wouldn't even try to even though the lobby was empty. I contacted Hilton and confirmed that this was something the hotel needed to do. She seemed upset we asked if they had an early check-in and got mad at her helpful/nice co-worker (Juan) when he offered us a room that was available. We later went to buy something from their snack bar and she refused to let us pay cash, saying she needed to charge the room (there was no one in the lobby, so she wasn't busy helping anyone and didn't seem like she wanted to). We waited until she left to check-out and Wendy was GREAT! She attached my Hilton account with no problem and let us pay cash for previous items Sylvia charged. Wendy, Bill, and Juan were AMAZING and helpful! The room was great, it was in great proximity to everything. Breakfast wasn't included, but that wasn't a big deal. I would stay here again but try to avoid. interacting with Sylvia.
