        It's a hotel, not much else to say, rooms nice and clean, TV, coffee machine with pods, water bottles for a charge and a small fridge, nice big bathroom and air conditioned room, for only being in the room on an evening, it's more than enough. Staff very friendly and helpful, suggest putting your passports in the safe in the reception as if stolen from the safe in your room, you're not covered, not that it would happen, but just done just for peace of mind. Large air conditioned reception area, extremely welcoming in the summer. Hotel shop is rather expensive so only use if really necessary. Very well placed for Central Park, Broadway and Times Square as all within a few blocks from the hotel. Would definitely recommend and will most probably return to this same hotel.

        The staff at this hotel is amazing! Lisa and Alvin greeted me and helped me get checked in. They are so friendly and welcoming and were super helpful with all my questions. I was with a large group and the staff was willing to store our luggage on our last day after checkout. The manager Carolina was really nice and you could tell she really cares for her staff and wants the customers to have a great experience. I came here for a work trip and the hotel is very clean and in a great location walkable to the major attractions of NYC like Times Square and the Rockefeller Center. It's also close to train stops so you can easily get around with tons of restaurants nearby. My rooms was very clean and I had a nice view. Thanks Hilton Garden Inn- Manhattan- Midtown East! I'll be back!

        Rooms were a bit "snug". I had to move the desk chair to walk from the door to the window. They say they have room service, but I could not find a menu. Only 2 elevators for 20 floors. You needed to scan your room key to use one of the elevators, but not the other. I checked out and then had to check back in for another night.. Had some toilet plumbing issues the last night I was there. They stored my suitcases twice and did a great job with it. Over all, I would be glad to stay there again and recommend the hotel.

        Rooms are comfortable, but very small. No wiggle room if you brought the kids with you like we did. Our 2 queen bed room had just enough room for sleeping. No couch in room, just an office chair that it just a hair too big to fit between the beds...which would have been since to open up the walking area. Staff was super nice and accommodating. Lobby was very cozy with the fireplace and seating. They have a buffet breakfast, but it cost $22 per person...so we passed on that. Bottom line...I would still stay here again when/if we come back to NYC. Conveniently located near subway access, relatively close to Times Square, and close to multiple diners, resturants AND an Amazon Go store right around the corner. This was a life saver as you can get snacks and drinks at normal, non inflated prices.

        Was here for Labour Day weekend and I have mixed reviews. The front desk staff were miserable to converse with, not polite or friendly. Spoke with three different workers throughout my stay and they all had the same demeanour (as if they couldn’t care less). Not a great way to start my vacation/check in process, especially since they are the first face people see when coming into the hotel. The elevators were slower than turtles but that’s neither here nor there - it is what it is! We got up to our room and it was on par with what we paid for. Nothing negative or positive to say about the rooms, it was average and what you’d see in any hotel. I do want to highlight the amazing housekeeping staff though! Ran into about 4 of them during the whole stay and they were amazing, so friendly, kind and really put the guests first (they should be at the front desk!) They were the only extremely positive thing about my stay staff wise. Location wise, this is a good spot for what I was looking for. Close to some local shops (grocery, pharmacy, etc) subway stations and a little bit of nightlife. It’s a smaller hotel so there are no amazing skyline views, but that didn’t bother us as we were out of the room most of the day anyways exploring NYC. Wifi signal was always pretty good (did drop a few times but that happens in most places). They had free coffee and tea in the morning which was nice, but it was at odd hours and tasted like instant coffee! I wouldn’t book this spot again for the price, as it was just average and the front desk staff really tainted my whole experience. There are better hotels (and probably cheaper ones) that would have granted me the same experience.
