Don't book the "DCgetaway package"...I was still charged for valet(overnight) parking despite it being included in the rate. I was informed by the manager it would be refunded...she re-sent my final bill that showed the refund amount BUT the actual refund was rejected by the merchant according to my credit card company. Its a convenient and safe location with clean rooms. I felt Valet attendants could've been a bit more friendly...it's also a bit of a hassle getting into the unloading area and gathering your things while awaiting valet (small loading area) with lots of street traffic.

Great location across from the McPherson Metro (from the airport get on the first cars so your on the correct end of the station for exiting) and the room I booked was available early and clean. But, as a Gold member, expected complimentary water, and was told by front desk that water is in the room, but it's $3! So do stop at a convenience store and pick up a large bottle of water. The little things are important for consistent brand experience.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The service was exceptional. Every single encounter, from booking, to check-in, and check-out, and everything in between, was pleasant, easy, and fast. The staff are attentive and anticipated my needs and were so friendly. Additionally, the hotel is directly across the street from the McPherson Square Metro station, which makes the trip to and from the airport incredibly easy. The hotel is also in walking distance of many attractions, like various Smithsonian museums, the White House, etc.

Great experience for our DC holiday weekend! From the terrific location close to the theaters and other attractions, the friendly and accommodating staff, the ultra-convenient Hilton app, to the scrumptious restaurant breakfast…everything was literally perfect with our stay here this weekend. Stayed at the Grand Hyatt when we came to town last year for a show, but will be certainly coming back to the HGI for whatever show we catch next year! Thanks again, and see you next Christmas! (on a side note, my girlfriend and I read some reviews of the hotel after returning home, particularly the One Star reviews for amusement. All I can say is that there are SOME people who will never be pleased. This hotel and staff are really great. You won’t go wrong choosing this one for your stay. Unless you are one who can never be pleased, of course.)

As Canadians, my family and I chose this hotel to experience something different from the 4-star one down the street where we had stayed previously. As others have mentioned, convenient location but a bit noisy day and night, but surprised at the amount of homeless people in front of the hotel. The low star rating is for the staff especially the lady who greets/seats you at breakfast. Never have we felt disrespected and shamed to grab and go food to eat in our own hotel room instead of the restaurant except here after having walked all day with the kids. Please respect that some guests are tired and don't want to be around others early in the morning. Thank you.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
