        Stayed here two nights in January 2024, while in London on business. Great service from the front-desk team, who went out of their way to accommodate a couple of requests I had. The room was clean and comfortable — and quiet, even though I was on the street level. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, certainly not extravagant.

        Reviewing mainly for the bar on the ground floor: it was the highlight of the hotel. The staff were very hardworking, and they had the place open until 11:45pm, which was a blessing when we came back from the Les Miserables musical and were in need of a refreshing drink late at night. They made sure to not give us too much foam in our beer, which was awesome. Thank you to them. Now, for the rest of the hotel amenities, the breakfast in the morning was great. The staff managing the breakfast place were so friendly and attentive. However, in terms of our hotel room, the water in our sink did not drain well at all, which was a huge problem. All in all, not too bad.

        (+)Location and breakfast are good (-) Room is one of the worst experience is 4 star hotel … 1/ every single day the cleaning service knocked on the door to know if they can clean before 9am. even day of checkout! No « do not disturb sign available. Only a « don’t clean Today » 2/ the first room we got had a vibrating floor…. I tought it was a train below the hotel and then noticed it was continuous vibration. For pregnant women not the Best. Due to technical local next to the room 3/ not possible to pay with maestro 4/ poor soundproofing. From the street noise and ambulances going’ to next door hospital and from the hallway… if someone walk on the hallway you think it’s someone in your room. 4/ no heating working - 16 degree in the room…. Only cold noisy air coming though, bad window insulation. After reading well reviews that AC problem is there since weeks/months , you could already put 2 blankets in the room. Unless it would be part of the eco friendly politics to turn off heating and knock on the door before 9 to make people put “no cleaning today” and save water and cleaning service.

        We stayed in room 431; the AC was not working, we called the reception. The front desk person came in to check. He offered to bring a fan. I asked to be changed to another room instead, his response was: "I'm going to check what's available and I'll let you know." He never called or came back.

        I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was notably poor. 1. Odor in the Room (Rating: 2/5): We had to switch rooms due to a strange smell. 2. Non-Functional Air Conditioning (Rating: 1/5): The room's AC control panel seemed faulty; adjusting the temperature had no effect. When we reported this, the front desk said like the AC was broken throughout the entire building and would be definitely fixed the next day. They offered us an electric fan as a temporary solution. Without the fan, the room would have been unbearable. It's worrisome to think about guests who might stay here during summer or for an extended period when the AC is not working. Overall, this was an disappointing experience.
