        Arrived mid afternoon made very welcome by both the reception and bar restaurant staff. Had a couple of coffees while waiting to pick up friends from Bristol airport which is only a five minute drive away , these brought to our table by a very pleasant girl who was also working in the restaurant. Took cases upto our room which was very comfortable and well equipped. After our friends had been picked up and settled in, we spent a very pleasant hour in the bar and had another laugh and a couple of jokes with the waitress and receptionist. We then had a very nice meal in the restaurant before going to our rooms and all had a great nights sleep. The following morning we all had an excellent breakfast with more than enough to eat. Will definitely use this hotel again.

        As a commercial rep, I spent 40 years travelling the UK and staying in the usual commercial hotel's. I am very used to staying at Holiday Inns up and down the UK. This one is the nearest hotel to Bristol Airport and is therefore always guaranteed business from travellers and air crew on training courses and layovers. The staff are very friendly and go a long way to help. The car park is rammed and the disabled parking spots are not monitored so expect to struggle to get your wheelchair bound colleague or family member to an easy access near the entrance. The food is OK, just, but the staff try very hard to please and really seem to care. The rooms are OK but don't expect the taps to be configured the same way from room to room and if you are over six foot tall you will be able to bite the shower head quite easily so learn to bend over to wash your hair. The corridors have an all persuasive odour of rotting vegetation or other organic matter, but the rooms are spared this olfactory assault. The heating system operability from room to room is hit and miss but the lovely staff will bring you a plug in oil filled radiator if you ask them, they really do their best. Treat the staff kindly as I suspect they have many issues to handle on a daily basis.

        I've had such a lovely night stop here. As a cabin crew we stay in many hotels and this one was lovely. Quiet and very clean room, lovely and professional lady at the reception. But the best part was the breakfast. The breakfast was to die for. Lee and Sam responsible for the food are the best, the friendliest people and their food was outstanding. So fresh and absolutely delicious. So THANK YOU SO MUCH. X

        I just want to say the service I received today on the phone was exceptional 👌 I contacted the receptionist and spoke to a lady called Ella with regards to my elderly parents staying at the hotel the night before they fly to Ireland to visit me. Ella couldn't have been more helpful and kind with my queries totally professional attitude and so caring. Ella is a total asset to the company and I couldn't of come off the phone more than happy. Ella deserves a 5 plus rating from me. Thank you so much. David

        Lovely stay here, shame about the vegan options for dinner. But breakfast was lovely. Ella on reception is a Star, confidently and calmly sorting anything she was requested. Beth in the restaurant also deserves a mention for great customer service. The gentleman in the restaurant who spilt chips, picked them up by hand put them back in the bowl and served them to a customer however was not so great.
