        Funny how a card of how “clean” housekeeping in the hotel is, yet a stain was smeared on one of the pillows that was on the bed exactly where that card was placed. I had to move a small cupboard because an item of mine fell behind it and i was extremely shocked that i have found all this dirt and misplaced items were right there!!!! That cupboard was probably never moved since the opening of this hotel. Housekeeping “cleaned” and “tidied” our room but our used tea cups were still there right on the bedside table after they left. Kitchen supplies werent replaced with new ones and in the bathroom the toilet paper was almost finished and was also never replaced with a new one. Such things are only supplied for us once we call the reception and ask for them. In my experience, the only pro of this hotel is its very convenient location. It is located right in the center with many places that are just walking distance away.

        You know what to expect from Holiday Inn. It's the MacDonalds of the hotel world. Our room was clean and spacious. Major issues was the height of the bath to climb into the shower. Why do hotels still have baths? Very friendly receptionist and good location. Parking is expensive but I guess that comes with the city centre location. A good breakfast.

        Had a great stay here, very central location and very comfy and well equipped rooms .Very friendly and helpful staff nothing was too much trouble , the food here was also of a very good standard, our evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice on offer as was the Breakfast menu. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back.

        The staff are mostly polite but very short on staff and have no maintenance person on call for night time emergencies. I had no electricity the first night I stayed here and was left without. The food was very limited in the food room. A few days later , I found a mouldy dish in my mini fridge. Day 10 I had a leak coming from my bathroom light and was told they could do nothing the next day. I was given a key for a hotel room 2 doors down which would mean either leaving my autistic 8 year old alone or my 3 year old, depending on who needed to use the loo. I am a single mother in a very vulnerable position and I feel they could have done more as the building is in disrepair in the areas most dont see. The security guard was inappropriate when it came to my 3 year old and used his camera on her without my permission. I wouldn't see that I've had the best experience at the bond street holiday inn.

        The hotel was fine with the staff very polite and efficient. My only concern was 5 of my colleagues had their group bookings cancelled the week we were due to stay. I had booked late, and we ended up in 4 different locations. How do you book and pay for a room to have it cancelled at short notice? 🤔
