        We had an enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Express Royal Mile just before Christmas this year. Location is excellent - a couple of minutes walk up the hill and we were on the Royal Mile. Rooms have all the basic facilities, including tea/coffee, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and toiletries provided. Heating/air con controls were good, so room was comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful and all that we encountered were kind and courteous. This is a budget option, but was comfortable, clean and more than adequate for our stay in Edinburgh.

        Very friendly staff. That’s where the luxuries end. We booked this room over New Year’s Eve and paid an exorbitant price. This hotel should feel ashamed of itself to charge that much for this room. The carpet is old and stained. The beds very used. The bathroom smells of urine worse than a roadside public restroom. There was a water leak in the toilet base causing the floor to be wet. But worse of all, this supposedly non smoking room, reeks of cigarette smoke. I might be ok staying here for £50/night but £379 is outrageous. I expected inflated prices for this holiday night, but this is ridiculous.

        The hotel is perfectly situated, just a 2 minute walk from the Royal Mile, surrounded by bars and restaurants all within a minute or 2 walking distance. It takes about 8 minutes walking to get from and to Waverly train station. The check-in was fast and the desk agent was really nice and helpful, the lobby was clean and fresh. The rooms were clean, well furnished and all the fittings were in good working order. We got 2 rooms with connecting doors as requested. Breakfast was just right with something for everyone, and if you want a night cap just before bed, there is a little bar that has just what you need. All in all this is a great, reasonably priced and perfectly located hotel.

        A remarkable stay at holiday Inn express Royal mile. I loved here especially breakfast area .The hotel's dining options were a true delight. The breakfast buffet offered an continental breakfast ensuring that every guest's palate was satisfied. The quality of the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients and a variety of healthy options available. The attentive and friendly staff in the restaurant made dining a pleasurable experience, always ready to accommodate any special requests.

        I stayed over new years eve weekend and as someone who stays at these hotels worst one so far I liked the others but not this experience last weekend. The main issue is your front of house didn't catch the name but it started with Z. I found her absolutely rude and face like thunder. After travelling up from London on a train I had to hold it in not to explode over this ladies rudeness! Crazy! I've worked in hotels and would never treat a customer like that and I'm currently face to face with people it's embarrassing. Later I noticed her laughing loud with other guests so it's just certain people maybe she doesn't like? The other lady seemed nice. And a young man then served me the next night she needs to learn from him! Very nice young man I applaud you! Rest or the hotel is okay Very quiet but okay! I'd still recommend staying here if you'd like to be close to the train station and The Royal Mile.

          Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.
          The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.
          Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.
