        My family and I stayed for one night for NYE. The hotel itself is in an amazing location. Our room was really nice with a great view of the city. The bed was so comfortable! I was disappointed by the food and beverage we purchased over the order and collect site. My order was just sitting unattended at the reception. It was cold, and over cooked. The margarita I had was gross and there was no care in how it was made. Later on I met other family for dinner and drinks (hours later) to find my table from before hadn’t even been cleared? My family also experienced cold meals and found themselves having to chase up their drink order. I understand staffing may have been low due to NYE but it was pretty frustrating. The buffet breakfast however was very good. The staff running this were kind and helpful with things like making sure food and drinks were restocked and hot. A lovely staff member went out of his way to help me with the coffee machine. I would definitely stay again but next time will definitely avoid eating and drinking at the hotel!

        Very pleasant stay and very nice rooms! Staying here for 5 nights and was the most worth it winner throughout my trips to Melbourne. Everything was excellent and welcoming. The downside is just the lady staff with glasses was very rude and unwelcoming, but didn't bothered our holiday at all! 10/10 will recommend to everyone! The chromecast in the room was very nice and top notch! Will definitely pick this hotel other than other hotels! Keep up the great work! Breakfast was okay and free. Located next to trams directly to shops and restaurants! Not many restaurants nearby but lots of fast food chain, located next to Southern Cross Station which was very convenient.

        My spouse and I stayed here for one night in January for the Australian open. Rooms - the hotel rooms were somewhat clean but the issue was, we found a used bandaid in the bathroom. The bathroom was unfortunately not cleaned properly. 0/5 Breakfast - value for money. Youll get your basics + some croissants and Danish .5/5 Location - very close to rod laver arena. Convenient for those traveling for the tennis matches. Very close to kings cross station as well. Great accessibility. 5/5 Staff - very polite staff. I barely stayed in the room but I had requested them to take care of my luggage after checkout until my flight, to which they kindly obliged. 5/5

        The week prior to Christmas, my wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in the heart of Melbourne. We were there to celebrate our first Wedding Anniversary. Our room was perfect - very spacious, an Australian Wine along with some red roses, adorned the table. The view in particular at night was spectacular, the bed was large, I think even King Henry 8th could not have complained. All staff, showed friendliness// warmth , and afforded us great service ( great to see so many different nationalities on the staff) like we were housed in the United Nations 🇺🇳 !! Communication was excellent. Breakfast in our view superb, offered just the right amount of variety, the only weaknesses I could detect when people were selecting their food and drink, was the coffee machine, I think that are needs further consideration as the service of the machine is on the slow side let alone if it has a malfunction. In rounding off I would like to thank all the staff who made our stay so memorable, especially > the Manager Mr B Fernando, I felt his organisational skills plus his interaction with staff and guests created a highly relaxed atmosphere. I have stayed in various hotels // motels around the world including the Holiday Inn near “Time Square “ New York, from my perspective if this was a premier league table, I would have to rate the Melbourne Holiday Inn at the top !! Thank you once again for such an amazing experience !!

        We've got a room on the top floor. Best view of the city. The room was clean and spacious with comfy bed. The hotel is in the centre of the city and parking is avaliable for guest. Staff was kind and helpful making our stay wonderful. Complementary breakfast was delicious with plenty choices.
