Generally this seems like a nice hotel. However we had an issue upon check-in as we booked 3 persons instead of 4 and therefore had to pay for an extra room for one night then checkout to another hotel the next day. I feel the solution provided was not ideal. In fact we didn't use the extra room whatsoever but still had to pay for it. Surely there could have been another flexible solution to the problem? However, I do appreciate the polite and professional attitude of the staff, so thank you for that. Secondly, on the location, I did not feel safe every time I entered and exited the Stalingrad Metro station nearby. There are a LOT of troublemakers hanging around and trying to get your attention. I did not feel safe in this area, in general. So please take care when you are travelling to/from the hotel.

Very nice hotel, helpful and friendly stuff. It is located in a very beautiful place on the canal not far from the subway. The hotel is very beautifully illuminated in the evening. You can easily get to the centre of the city on one subway line without transfer. Only one minus there was a little bit cold for us at the hotel. They did not switch on the central heating. But breakfast was very rich and wonderful as for French hotel.

This used to be a good hotel in an attractive neighborhood of Paris, less touristic and great for walking along the canal. Unfortunately, service at the property has become a shame for the IHG brand. Room was not ready in the afternoon for check-in, no recognition of Platinum status other than a useless sticker on the keycard, no upgrade but a room assigned to the (not so nice) dark backyard, poor cleaning with obvious dirt and visible leaves not cleaned/vacuumed for several days, despite of status not even an hour of late check-out granted, in summary way too much overpriced at €250,00 per night for a Holiday Inn Express struggling to host customers properly.

I only give this a 4 star because of the staff. The picture on the website shows this beautifully lit outside decor. It was not. When we pulled up we thought that we were in the wrong place. It literally looked like old planks were nailed onto to the place. Considering the misleading pics I asked if I could see our room before we checked in. The staff was nice and didn't think twice about accommodating me. Rooms were good. No amenities but clean. The location is a little sketchy. However the staff was so nice and just made everything bearable. Noah and I'm sorry guys I didn't get everyone's name - but you were awesome! Probably won't stay again but I definitely will come by to say hey.

We had en excellent expereinece at this hotel! Sandra was super nice, helpful, freindly, and caring! She went above and beyond in helping us with the language, directions, and how to use the metro ( By the way she speaks Spanish English French and Portugese!). She recommneded us excellent sights, restaurants and shopping areas. Who ever plans to stay at this hotel I definently recommend meeting her! Thank you Sandra! You definently made our experience in Paris a great one! We defiently need for Sandras in this world! Rooms were clean, everything worked, cleaning services were great! The viewes from the room were beautiful and breakfast was very good! Would definently stay here again!!!
