        We stayed at this hotel the night before a cruise. Pros: The location is convenient to the port. The staff was very friendly Cons: Our room #601 smelled incredibly moldy - all three of us experienced allergies because of it. I recommend checking your room before settling in - it seems from the reviews that some rooms are more renovated than others.

        If I could give this place 0 stars I would. When we checked in the front staff was very nice and the place looked nice. However once we got to our rooms I wanted to run out. It stunk like someone had been hot boxing the place, the ceiling had a HUGE past water leak, the skirt on the bed had holes and the sheets, the chair in the room had what looked to be bodily fluids on it, the bathroom had old masking tape that was crunchy ( been there a while) on the base board, behind the door was so filthy, the shower had black stuff in the cracks, the vent on the wall was falling off, the couch was nasty also. We asked for extra bedding and covered everything before even sitting on anything. At one point I considered going to just sit in the lobby all night. We had went out for a walk came back to the hotel and sat in the lobby, that furniture was stained. There was a game that night so all the hotels in the area were full, had there been any openings anywhere else we would have left!!! Don't waste your points or your money to stay here, please.

        My stay was all about somewhere to sleep the night before leaving on a cruise. The location is great as it's only a couple of minutes from the cruise terminals and also just across the street from several restaurants. The gentleman that checked me in was very pleasant and helpful, 5 stars for him. The breakfast staff, was more 3 stars. The hotel was pretty clean 4 stars on that. My room was European size 2 stars on that. Not sure when, but the hotel has gone through a remodel. Being a car guy I'd say it was definitely not a frame off rotisserie remodel, more of a bath-over (if you get that reference) remodel. In other words they didn't remodel down to the bones, but more about sloppily slap some paint on. Again, it was fine, but just.

        Hotel is run down, room had oil stains on the table and handprints on the windows, toilet plumbing was very slow, and the bed framing was literally bent out of shape. Everything else in the room was functional and clean enough. The location is excellent. It was for only one night, but I may consider staying elsewhere if it was for longer.

        We stayed here a week ago. The lobby was outdated and smelled like old mop. The staff were great. They were friendly, courteous and fast. I requested a handicap accessible room because I ride an electric scooter. The room also had the same funky smell as the lobby. The only accessory available was a stool so you could sit and take a shower..the only problem was it didn't fit in the tub. The location was excellent. There is a mall with lots of stores & restaurants across the street. And since we were going on a cruise the next morning being close the the harbor was great! The hotel called us a driver to take us to the cruise line that charged $10 each which we were fine with. Overall I would have looked for a cheaper hotel for the money. We paid $275 for one night.
