This is my very first time to review a hotel. Female,traveled alone. I was arranged to a room at second floor. I’m sorry to tell, room sound insulation is not good at all. I experienced next door couple fought in the mid of night. I got awakened by the noise. the guest kept opening and slamming the door hard.I received twice stranger called at 5.35am while the fight was still ongoing. I didn’t pick up the call as the number is not same as the hotel number stated on Google. I voiced out my experience to the front desk while I was doing check out in the morning. Due to personal safety concerns, I didn’t take any action and decided to keep myself stay inside the room until check out. Eventually, I found out the stranger number is from one of the hotel staff. The front desk has no idea why their colleague used his personal number to call me. I have no idea why not the particular staff to reminds the problem one to mind their noise but chose to call me instead. I admitted that the situation and especially the twice stranger called was really scared me. However, thank you for your service. But, I think…hmm yea, there is still room for improvement.

Overall terrible. Been fake by those photos in agoda, looks great clean and tidy , but when we stepped in , the room was super small and the cleanliness was terrible, we give high hopes for it but end up like this . Will not recommend this hotel

I had a bad experience when staying here. The room is smaller compare to other hotel. Almost rm100 for budget hotel. Got fined for the parking, RM30. The receptionist not even try to tell to us anything about parking or whatsoever. Will never come again.

I am solo traveller from Sydney. I stayed in a few hotels both in East and West Malaysia over 3 weeks. Hollywood hotel is the best hotel by far for both price, location and comfort. A bit of noise in the late morning and afternoon BUT hey I am on holiday and so never back until late. The window sound proofing is better than most I have stayed. Overall a good experience with helpful staff, great location. Thumbs UP...I will be back
