        This was an okay Hilton. The Staff were friendly. It was clean. We didn't love the layout of the room. The bedroom had the only window and the living room is therefore dark. Our heater didn't work and miami experienced a cold spell, so we were cold. The pool is very small with a deep end of 3'6" and unheated, so we didn't use it. The tv's on both ellipticals in the gym didn't work, unfortunately. It is about a 25 minute walk to the busy part of Brickell. It is safe and we felt comfortable walking. We bought a beer from their Cafe to take to the room, but there was no bottle opener. We can't be the first to want to drink our beer in the room. The kitchen had no kitchen towels to dry dishes. I had to use a hand towel. Their is only one desk and chair, so one of us had to set up to work on the couch. Valet parking is the only option.

        Spacious rooms and friendly and helpful service. The morning breakfast is pretty good. Eggs, bacon, waffles, coffee and juices. Only nit is that the wifi can be slow and spotty. Otherwise, it's a great property. They even have complimentary washers and dryers. Great value!

        Great location, we were there for 1 night prior to a cruise. Breakfast had plenty of options. Walking distance to a Walgreens and Publix. Kitchen was nice but did not use. Only issue we had was low battery chirp on the smoke detector and to pack and change rooms in the middle of the night.

        My room smelled horrible as soon as I walked in at check in. Luckily, I travel with air freshener so I ended up having to spray it throughout the room and even that didn't help with the nasty odor. It appeared that the room hadn't been cleaned well or aired out. When I went into the bathroom to wash my hands, I found that the sink drain stopper was broken and wouldn't allow water to go down the drain so I had to call the front desk to have them send someone to fix it. I also didn't have enough toilet paper in the bathroom and when I called the front desk to request that someone send some up, the gentleman told me that I had to come downstairs to get it because he was "the only one there" and it wasn't even 6pm. I thought that was strange because I just saw someone from housekeeping while I was headed upstairs to my room. Also, there was an issue with the outlets in the room and they wouldn't charge my devices at times. In addition, I had to hear kids playing around in the hallway and it sounded like someone left a dog in their room unattended because I heard some whimpering through the walls. I definitely won't be staying there during my next trip to Miami.

        Blindsided by $30 parking fee. My car was broken into and I went to front desk for the 1 hour extended checkout while trying to sort through things and the guy was very nonchalant and rude and said it would $50. Hotel was clean and nice but the area is suspect and staff rude
