        We stay in San Diego quite often and this was definitely the worst place we’ve ever experienced. First of all, they wanted to charge $50 for early check-in even though the room was ready and empty. None of the front desk staff offered the complimentary water bottles as well. We were even more disappointed when we tried to take advantage of the amenities: fire pit was surrounded by the smell of marijuana, and the hot tub was filled with loud and obnoxious women blasting their music and pouring glasses of wine next to the water when there’s a sign right next to entrance that says “No glass bottles”. This place is clearly a long-term stay where the guests get comfortable and treat it like their home. It’s a shame since the rooms have recently been redone and look great. But Hilton would have been better off to have used the renovation money for the Hampton Inn next door - save your money and stay there instead. Will NOT be staying here again.

        I’ve stayed at so many hotels in San Diego. This is now my go to. They have everything that I need. All the amenities, laundry, gym, breakfast are included. The staff are amazing. There’s always someone greeting during the managers social hour and breakfast. The rooms are always super clean, thanks to the housekeeping team. I also love how close it is to Old Town SD.

        I have been going to this hotel almost every year since 2017 with my family. Whenever I visit San Diego, the services were excellent and the rooms were clean, but recently the services have begun to weaken. The rooms has become dirty. The main reason that we always go to this hotel every time is that the rooms are spacious. Our last visit was tragic, we took a room with two beds and a sofa bed, but it turned out that the room was very dirty, when we received the room and entered, there was a strange and unpleasant smell in the room, so we cleaned the bathroom because it was dirty, so I sterilized it and we did not stay a long time in the room. And after about an hour in the room we left to vist friends and when we returned to the hotel the stench was still there and we wanted to know the cause of the smell. Once we opened the sofa bed in the room, the smell became worse to a point where it was unbearable, the smell came fromthe mattress and the smell was comparable to urine. I took a picture of the matress with the stain and immediately went downstairs to ask to change the mattress or to change the room, and keep in mind the time during all of this happening was around 2 am, but the employee who was present in the front desk didn't agree to change the mattress and she claimed that they do not have anyone to do that, Can you believe that a hotel of this size and capacity does not have staff just to change the mattress? She offered us an alternative room, but the problem with that was that the alternative room had one bed and I have a family of 4 with me. I told the employee that we needed a room with two beds, but she claimed that they do not have additional rooms except one with one bed only so I asked her to give two rooms with one bed but she said that they don't have any other extra rooms. I asked her repeatedly to go up to the room to check the smell to confirm my claim, but she refused to provide any assistance with this matter, and her excuse was that there is no one to be in her place. I recorded this conversation on my phone with for the case and with the testimony of their security gaurd, but he did not have authority to do anything about it, so it was not his fault. At the end, they refused to give me a room with two beds or two separate rooms with one bed for each, and thus I was forced to leave the hotel in 3 AM after midnight because we could not stand the smell in the room. This was the worst hotel I have been to. We went at three o'clock in the morning with my wife and my two children at this hour, and searched for an alternative hotel and in the end we booked two rooms in another hotel. I have never seen bad treatment like this, she was very rude and did not help us solve our problem. I do not recommend going to this hotel at all because of their dirty rooms and how they treat their customers.

        Good place to stay for family travel. Nice breakfast options. Overall clean and neat. A little bit sound proof issue in the living room but fortunately the wall of the bedroom did its job.

        4.5 because no balconies. For what this place is worth, I give them a five star on every but overall. I loved the kitchen inside, but did not get to use it. The shower was amazing, could have used a bath. The pool is tiny. I liked the bbq area. This place is the place to stay if you want to..

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
