One of the male receptionists (owner?) is not very nice and acts like the customer doesn't exist. We booked a 4-person room and what amazes me is that there is no lock on the bathroom door!? Wall shelf and shower basket are also absent in the bathroom.. The hostal is in a beautiful location with train/metro station nearby, but it was hard to get a good night sleep because of nightlife and poor noise isolation.

Location is great. Facilities, the noise all day and all night, getting from street level up to the hostel, and showers are terrible. Found the staff very rude and unwilling to even try help with anything. However, It is only €60 each a night and I would probably book again if I needed something convenient.

It depends on what kind of expectations you have whether you'll like it. Location is great. It's easy to find if you're not being daft (between five guys and Nespresso). And people here complaining about no step free access - well it's an old building so what do you expect? It's one step to get to the lift and if your room is on the upper floor, the front desk guy who was really nice offered to help with bags up the stairs. My room was a single bed one with private bathroom, TV and powerful air conditioning. It was simple but ok. Cleanliness was mediocre but ok. The only thing I thought was missing was a duvet, so I asked for a blanket and that was fine. Noise wise it was ok, I expected worse and I sleep with ear plugs anyway so it didn't bother me. All in all it's good value, great location and friendly staff. But of you expect a high end hotel this is not for you.

Good position and the room was ok. The building is really old and the truly unbearable thing was the noise coming from the next room. The wall are paper thin and we could hear everything.

Good location but no info with check-in. It's on the fifth floor which you can reach by stairs or elevator but once you get in the hostel, there is one more staircase to go to your room so not recommendable for people in a wheelchair. Clean rooms, good wi-fi. You can leave your Keys at the reception which is good so you can't lose it.

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
