For a cheap stay we found that this hostel was in a really nice location. 15 min walk from Myeongdong and also a 5 min walk to a Line 2 station which gets you to most Seoul tourist attractions. We had a decent sized double room which had heated floors and air con installed. The only downside was that the room would smell like wet clothes if we did not close the bathroom door before leaving. Apart from the smell, the rest of the room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, towels were self service and you were able to grab more towels, toilet paper, toothpaste etc near the reception.

The staff was really nice and welcoming so it's sad for me to leave such a low rating. However, other than the staff, nothing was pleasant regarding our stay. Prior to booking I checked the images of the rooms and they all seemed neat so I assumed it'll be fine. However, we were unlucky and got a room without a window. It felt more like a cave. My partner and I don't mind small rooms but without the window it really resembled a prison cell. It was also incredibly humid in the room. Luckily there was a dehumidifier but we felt kinda icky the entire stay. On the corners of the walls, lots of spots resembling traces of mold. There were TONS of mosquitos in the room and noticing from the walls, previous guests must have struggled with them too. There are dead mosquito smushes and blood everywhere...

Hotel Kpop is a very special accommodation choice that gave me an unforgettable Korean experience. First of all, I have to say that their service is excellent, the staff are always helpful, friendly and professional. They made sure my needs were met and provided lots of helpful advice to make my trip go smoother. The waiter at the counter is a Chinese girl who provided us with a lot of advice and help very enthusiastically and kindly. The comfort level is acceptable but the accommodation price is cheap. It is also close to the subway station. You can reach Myeongdong's shopping district in about half an hour's walk. There are also rich nightlife neighborhoods nearby, making it very suitable for short-distance travelers who want to save money.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
