Rooms are more spacious than pictures make it seem, very aesthetic and comfortable, and with many lighting options. Bathroom is kitted out and well stocked with a variety of good quality toiletries. Bed is quite hard (which I like) and the sheets are super comfortable. Free water and tea samples which are delicious! Very catering and kind staff, with good English! Friendly and willing to help or provide information. Location is close to different train stations, food and Tokyo tower.

Outstanding choice for a hotel in Tokyo. Yes, it is not directly next to the station, but the ~10 min stroll is filled with excellent restaurant choices. In addition, the hotel is modern and new, has great service, and bathroom welcome kit is a super nice bonus. We stayed in the older (old school) 4-star hotel closer to Tokyo station too and would take 1899 hands down. The best value for money.

Great hotel, large room for a hotel in Tokyo and it is very lowkey. It is green tea oriented so the soaps and drinks they have are tea related. They have really good teas in the room for free with a nice kettle. One note is there are not many stations around but it is far from the city life so it is very quiet here which I like a lot. They have a little restaurant/Cafe at the bottom. However, the breakfast is very limited and not impressive I would suggest not getting it. Overall highly recommend this place especially if you love tea.

This was one of the best Hotels I've stayed in a long time. As someone who came from America, where Hotel rooms are much larger in size, this was definitely on the smaller size. But don't mistake the smaller sized room for lack of comfort. I mean, why do you come to Japan? To stay in the hotel room all day? I don't think so. I didn't book this place with that in mind. That being said, after staying the first night, I fell in love with the room size and all it's amenities. I appreciated the comfort and care given by the receptionists at the lobby. They were responsive within seconds. I called to ask for extra towels and when I hung up, they were at the door within 40 seconds with my towels! Talk about efficiency! It's also less than 8 min walk from the station. Anyways, in conclusion I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Tokyo to stay here!

The atmosphere was nice.The taste of green tea is Japan authentic . I and my friend order healthy lunch set. We really like and appreciate. I found out 1899 cafe had craft green tea beer hi-light , fantastic, incredibly. I will visit again

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
