        We stayed for 1 night at the hotel for the concert. The hospitality especially from two woman receptionists (night shift) are bad. They are not helpful when we asked for a help to use the bathrooms at the hotel lobby. We need the toilet because it was too late to find others at 11.30 p.m (SG Time). Firstly the gave us a reason that one of the cleaning service was using the toilet. We are trying to knock the door many times but nobody in the toilet. The second time when we asked the help to contact the cleaning officer, they said that the officer could not be contacted as he just took the rest time and nobody held the toilet key. They are not really helpful and heartless as the receptionist.

        Stayed here for a night. Easy access to public transport i.e. bus and MRT Kallang Station (nearest) walking distance of about 10-15 minutes. Room and toilet is rather small with limited movements nonetheless, we had a good sleep. Overall okay

        Very Bad experience in this hotel and it ruined my holiday, customer service from the concierge are rude when talking to the customers and the hotel blood sucking no date change policy when I wrongly book the date and no refund and no date changing for the booking when I request change after 5 mins of booking. When I book the hotel using the Agoda also the apps is not user friendly as I don’t see the obvious sign of date changing and no double comfirm of my booking as other apps have this function but Agoda don’t have. I know is my fault for booking the wrong date but I really dislike the Hotel 81 no date change policy and it is not obvious and hidden till I want to change date only I saw it. Wouldn’t come to this hotel again and also won’t use Agoda no more!

        The Hotel has some pros and cons, the staff were friendly and very welcoming. The rooms were too small and there was barely space to move. I would recommend it if this was your last available option.

        Please do not get caught in these hotels and their deals through websites like Agoda.! They will ruin your holiday..!! Took our money after a mistake done on travel dates, even though we cancelled within 10-15minutes after realising. One of the managers(Leon) promised a refund over the phone but didn't keep their word. Wasted months going back and forth but still held into our refund. Most inhumane customer service ever..! Save your time and money by booking a different hotel people..!
