        I regret to share my disappointing experience at Hotel Alexandra in Hong Kong. During my stay, I encountered a significant issue with smoking in the hotel. Upon checking into my room, I immediately noticed a strong smell of smoke, indicating that previous guests had been smoking in the room. Concerned about the health and comfort of my family, especially my child, I promptly requested a room change. Unfortunately, even after moving to another room, the smell of smoke persisted throughout the night due to the air circulation. It was disheartening to realize that the hotel's system was not effectively preventing smoking in the rooms, which greatly affected our stay. Furthermore, I noticed a strong smell of smoke in the elevator and even witnessed a person holding a cigarette. This observation added to my disappointment and concern. As a family-oriented traveler, I believe it is crucial for hotels to maintain a smoke-free environment to ensure the well-being of their guests. I sincerely hope that Hotel Alexandra takes immediate action to address this issue. It is crucial for them to improve their system and strictly enforce a no-smoking policy in all areas, including guest rooms and common spaces. Failure to do so could have a detrimental impact on their brand image and deter potential customers from choosing their establishment.         Beautiful hotel. Stayed here for my brothers wedding - my first ever time in Hong Kong. Was blown away as soon as I stepped through the doors and saw all the chandeliers. Rooms are nice too, clean and everything you need, I had a little view of the harbour. Close by to cafes and 7/11, MTR too.

        I saw one cockroach on the floor one day and one bed bug on the bed. Ridiculously the door key card doesn’t work for more than ten times during the nine months I am in this hotel. The ground on the toilet is not very clean. The ground on the bedroom is quite dusty. The room service every week is not doing a very good . They just replace the bed sheets and those toilettes. Doesn’t clean the room adequately. The room emits a bed burning smell when turning on the heating function on the air conditioner. Who know if the smell will affect your health? I would not recommend this hotel. But if you want good location, the hotel is near victory harbour. But there may be safer choices.

        Pleasant stay. Nice deco and room size are considered big for HKG standards. Plenty of food choices and shops within walking distance. Good location. Employees are friendly and helpful. Connecting rooms are uniquely designed in an unexpected way. I like it.

        Nice hotel located in a good neighborhood with plenty of local food choices ( dim sum, noodles, roast meat, desserts, etc ) and convenience stores at street level. It’s linked to the Fortress Hill MTR ( Exit B ) via an elevated walkway, but with a couple of stairways so if you have lots of heavy luggage it may not be suitable. The room is of reasonable size while the check in was quick and efficient. Cleanliness of the room was generally good but the toilet walls have some stains which were not cleaned properly. The air conditioning was good but we initially struggled with the controls - a simple set of operating instructions would be good for guests.
