        This is an ok place to stay based on location, but is rated as a 3 star hotel and in my opinion it does not quite reach that level. The location is great, across the street from Copacabana Beach and near all sorts of good restaurants and tourist attractions. If you have a beach view room, you can watch the sunrise out your window. They also keep the rooms pretty clean. The breakfast is pretty good. That's the good part. The hotel could still be a three star if it were not for the numerous maintenance issues and cost cutting measures. The sheets and towels were past their useful life and were not replaced during our 3 night stay. The windows are a holdout from the 50s, did not close properly, and did not keep out the very loud noises coming from the street all night long in this part of the city famous for its night life. The elevators are slow resulting in long waits, and during one day, one of the two elevators was not working. There were other minor issues that I will not list, but as to the impression of a neglected property. The bottom line is that while our stay was passable, I will be looking for another alternative next time.

        We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights the end of July, 2022. What I liked: The staff was very helpful and friendly, including the receptionists and the person who checked our bags. The location is really great - right on the Copacobana beach. We stayed in a room with an ocean view, and the view was really nice from our room. Because they were full of guests, we couldn't check in early, but we could have them hold our luggage for 10 reais each, and let us go to a separate area to go through and grab something from our luggage. What I didn't like: Because everyone is waiting to check in at 2pm, it was crazy for checking in, and we had to wait in line a bit. Note: you can actually start checking in about 1:45pm. Another thing is that the area to have breakfast was so full each day, that we decided to go to a padaria instead. Inside the room, the bathroom grout was really moldy and needed to be cleaned, and the toilet was too close to the wall. The mattresses were "wavy" - they sunk in and were very uncomfortable. Just looking at them, you can tell they need to be replaced. Another thing that made it difficult to sleep was that the room was too bright, and it was really loud outside - it sounded like the windows were open, but they weren't - they weren't soundproof at all. There were tiny ants in our room - they didn't really seem to bother anyone too much, but should be addressed. Another thing, even though we were staying there 4 nights, when I asked for a towel, they didn't have any extra (since they were at capacity). When you're reading this review, if some of the negative aspects don't bother you, it might be a great place for you to stay - it depends on what is important to you.

        The front desk gave to us a good orientation. That was the good part of being here. Otherwise, there was no parking lot, the key card was not working properly, the air conditioner was not working properly also. The Hotel seems to be with less people working than it should. They had the lower night price but the experience was according to the price. I tought it would be q very good Hotel but I was wrong. At least they fixed air conditioner quickly.

        The beach is right across the street which is a major plus. The breakfast is pretty good. The staff is very helpful. The Bathroom in the room is very spacious and the water has lot of pressure. A/C works pretty good. Its a very affordable hotel (50-70 dollars at night) but.... The noise from the music outside could keep you awake at night and it can go on till 5am or later. The Wifi is not the strongest and could get very slow at times. The rooms are relatively small and the walls could be dirty at least our room was. but at the end you are pretty close to the beach at a very low price.

        Situated right on the beach main avenue, the location of the hotel is great, but the room is not. The breakfast was okay but managing the entry to breakfast just before its closure in the morning is poor. The shower water leaks over the whole bathroom, and the air conditioner was old and noisy. The pool on the top floor is very small and crowded. The lobby looks nice though.
