My family and I traveled to Istanbul for the first time and this hotel is amazing! I really liked that this hotel is close to all the historical buildings. the staff is very nice and helpful. when we asked for something, they helped us. the breakfast in this hotel is very delicious and I could choose from many dishes. the rooms are nice and clean, but the pillows are a bit hard and uncomfortable. I can say that we will see this hotel again because this week was literally amazing at this hotel. thank you for the delicious coffees :) XO-Boróka

Very hospitable and helpful staff, from the moment we arrived at the airport (and even the explanations beforehand) to the moment we left. The room we had on the top floor (5th) suffered a bit from the noise coming from technical installations on the roof of an adjacent hotel, but that has the be the only point of criticism. Very good price/quality/location ratio.

After reading previous reviews we decided to book this hotel in Istanbul. We were definitely not disappointed and it exceeded our expectations. Firstly I do have to say that the Black Pearl and Black Tulip are in effect the same hotel. So if coming from the airport by taxi, tell your driver it's the Black Tulip Hotel in the Fatih District. On arrival at just after 2am a member of staff met us at our taxi (which had to park on a street close to the hotel). The staff member helped us with our cases and took us to the hotel reception. Check-in was quick and easy and all the staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our 10 night stay. The rooms have free: WiFi, safe, fridge, powerful hairdryer, aircon, slippers, shower gel, shower caps, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and tea making facilities and even free bottles of water every day. There were a couple of plug sockets on one side of the bed (covered by lift up flaps) and another socket in the bathroom so if you have a lot of devices to charge you may want to take a multi extension with you. Our towels were changed every day and the bedding refreshed. The breakfast (served from 7:30am - 10.30am weekdays and 7:30am - 11am weekends) consisted of a large range of continental breakfast buffet style options. Including cakes etc. The hotel could not be better situated for all the major attractions if the city. Its just a few minutes walk up the road to the Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, blue mosque, archeology museum, science and technology museum and much more. The tram literally runs down the street in front of the hotel and there is a tram stop just on the corner from it. We did not hear any tram noise from inside the hotel though. In summing up, we are so glad we chose this lovely smaller sized hotel with amazing staff, it really made our stay in the city so much more enjoyable.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
