The room is a bit old but cleanliness is spotless and well-maintained. The pillows definitely need to be replaced with firmer ones! Breakfast is pretty basic / ok. Based on our experience the hospitality is generally fair but could be upgraded. Bonus: a gentle well-mannered gardener stops by once a day to the room balcony to water the flowers.

I missed the fact that this place does not have air conditioning but at night it got to the fifties, so it was tolerable with the windows open. They also provide a desk fan Breakfast wasn’t anything special. Breads, meats, yogurts, cereal, and cheese. They do not provide top sheet for bed. Would have been better than just a comforter since no AC.

Pros: Spacious rooms. Good location. Cons: No AC. Weather was actually hot. Lift only till 2nd floor. 3rd floor has no lift access. Most importantly... Room carpets are not vaccumed properly. So, Avoid this hotel if you have any kind of Allergies specially Dust Allergy.

I stayed at the Chalet Swiss Hotel in May 2023. Overall, my experience was positive, although there were a few areas where I believe the hotel could improve. The highlights of my stay included the comfort of the room, the friendliness of the staff, and the generous space of the room with a balcony. These elements helped to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, which was exactly what I was looking for during my trip to Interlaken. However, I was somewhat disappointed to find out that the rooms are not located in the main Swiss chalet, but in an annex at the back of the building overlooking the car park. I believe the location and view from the room could have been more clearly communicated at the time of booking. As for the service, the staff were friendly and helpful, but there was one situation at breakfast that made me feel uncomfortable. I was asked to switch tables, even though I was in an empty breakfast room, just because we were two people at a four-person table. This felt a bit unnecessary and impacted my experience. The breakfast itself was enjoyable and provided the essentials. Nevertheless, the situation with the table switch detracted from the overall breakfast experience. Overall, my stay at the Chalet Swiss Hotel was satisfactory and I would recommend it for anyone looking to spend a few relaxed days in Interlaken. However, I would suggest to the hotel to be more transparent about the location of the rooms and to review some of their service policies to ensure all guests feel comfortable and welcomed.

No air, uneven floors, but it is a 160 yr old farm house with incredible views of Jungfrau! (At least from the room we stayed in). The people who work here are very nice. Breakfast simple, but tasty. I would stay here again if given the chance!

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
