We had a WONDERFUL stay here. We stayed in the family suite with balcony and loved it. Yes, there's noise outside, but it was expected and bearable. The staff were fantastic, caring, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and help us with planning our daily excursions. The location can't be beat, and the rooftop deck is a nice new addition.

Hotel Cielo is SUCH a gem! While I’m still finishing up my stay here at Hotel Cielo, I felt compelled to leave my review a bit early because I’ve had such a wonderful time here so far, and expect nothing less going forward. What makes this place really stand out to me (amongst many other things), is how warm and friendly the staff is. From what I’ve gathered, this hotel is family owned, and they will treat you like you are their own family. Upon check-in, the women at the front desk took the time to personally show us our room, and provided instructions around key amenities (TV, safe setup, etc.) and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving us be. And, whether we were going in/out of the hotel, there was always someone to greet us. I can tell that the staff here really cares about the needs and well-being of their guests, which has really warmed my heart! In addition to the amazing staff and service, is the well thought out architecture and interior design. Hotel Cielo lives up to the expectation of what a Mexican-style building would be like: adobe, colorful tiles, plants scattered throughout, etc. The rooms and common areas are decorated minimally, but in a beautiful way. It’s a nice contrast from the touristy area it’s situated in. A little oasis, if you will. The rooms are also very well kept, and clean (and that is someone who is really cautious about cleanliness). I also really appreciate the location of this hotel. It’s right around the corner off of 5th avenue and entrance to the beach, making it super convenient to explore the area as a tourist. The hotel is also connected to a restaurant called Carboncitos (on the first floor), serving up authentic and delicious Mayan cuisine. Overall, this is truly a 5 star hotel in my book from the service, to the architecture, vibes, and location. Everything about this stay has been so lovely. I also love supporting local, family owned businesses, and can’t wait to come back to stay here in the future. If you’re thinking about it, don’t hesitate to book at Hotel Cielo. You won’t regret it.

Best location in Playa. Just off 5th Ave and close to beach. Very comfortable rooms and sleak design. Best rooftop views of the beach are area. Staff is the best and can help you with any needs. Definitely coming back to Hotel Cielo.

Thank you Hotel Cielo. This was my first visit and will definitely return. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I was fortunate enough to spend some time chatting with the owner and the hotel vision. There is an incredible roof top lounge area with seating and shade that overlooks the ocean. Best view in the city! Very relaxing. This place should be on your list of your coming to Playa Del Carmen.

Still here & staying longer. quaint little hotel, homey feel. Wonderful staff, super clean, best mattress I've ever slept in Mexico, actually it's as good as 5 star hotels. Private roof top with incredible views of the Caribbean Sea ! Stayed many times in Playa Del Carmen but this little hotel is the best hotel and especially price wise. Thank you Hotel Cielo for a great vacation

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
