        I was guest in this hotel for 3 days together with my 21 year son. Hotel was okay, beds little bit uncomfortable but the room was nice and bathroom was very clean. I had a very bad experience with the manager of the hotel , I think his name was Albert, (not sure but he was the manager, he presented himself like that). In morning hours, around 7-am, my son was sitting in area as is restaurant (eating/breakfast area which is free 24/7) and he asked for help from this guy for information how to get to cable car in Barcelona, and this man (manager) answered him: “hey, it’s 7am, give me a break, don’t bother me this early!!” My son didn’t answer back. After he told me what he did, I went to confront him, but he tried to blame my son how my son have approached him aggressively. I tried to tell him “if it’s that true, then your answer would be different than “don’t bother me at 7am right???” The manager was arguing with me, becoming aggressive , and discussing my motherhood why was my 21 year son awake at 7am and wanted to go to cable line!?? I have been in a lot of hotels but this type of behavior I didn’t experienced! Very very unprofessional, very rude, man is a liar and very aggressive. He doesn’t deserve that position in hotel and definitely deserves to be fired! Only because of that manager I will never go to that hotel again, as long as he is working there. BUT,, the rest of the staff was very polite, very professional and very helpful. Specially I would like to thank Carlos for his help and his kindness. Wish them luck and better manager who can lead this hotel how it should so the guests can really enjoy in their stay.

        Abominable. They canceled our reservation day of. The guy working at reception said it was due to a card error. He wouldn't even give us the chance to try and pay with a different card. It was like he realized we were foreigners and couldn't be bothered. I had previously contacted them by phone and I should have known that the service would be terrible because the way they spoke to me was absolutely disrespectful. I had to talk them down but it shouldn't be my job to do that as the customer, especially when I wasn't even calling (at that time) to complain about anything. I have never experienced anything like this. I had to find a place to stay last minute, completely ruining my trip. This hotel cannot be trusted.

        This was a great hotel for my first time in Barcelona! The price was really good and the location was spot on! What made it awesome though were the front desk staff. Carlos and Alberto spent at least 15 minutes with us, suggesting places and showing us things in the maps. Probably the best reception staff I've EVER encountered in all my travels! The hot tub on the rooftop was a bonus after a long day of sightseeing. I don't understand how anyone could give this hotel a bad review. It's really good.

        I give this review 2 stars which is what this hotel should advertise as, it is NOT a three star hotel. Think of this place as barely one step up from a hostel. The rooms are unpleasant with only single beds pushed together, the bathrooms are dated. The best feature is the jacuzzi on the roof terrace but dont get too excited about that. I have stayed in many hotels in Barcelona and this was one of the worst, for the same cost there are nicer places available in the same area. This hotel is ripping people off at this price and advertising itself as something it is not. The rooms are not nicely furnished, March is the start of the season and the room is looking tatty with marks all over the paint, the furniture looks battered and the bathrooms look worn out.

        Excellent hotel The hotel is centrally located, close to attractions and convenient transportation. The rooms are comfortable, they are cleaned and stocked with clean towels and cosmetic accessories every day. There is a coffee machine, which is very practical and convenient. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The staff is very attentive, responsive and helpful. We were extremely satisfied with our stay, thank you for the wonderful treatment and I recommend it.
