Excellent experience!! The rooms and the facilities were perfect and the staff amazing, from the receptionists to the cleaning staff. It’s lovely to stay in a place where people are kind and polite. Plus the location in the middle of Tome, five minutes walk to the Colloseum. Also, the receptionist Thomas was super helpful giving us advice and recommendations to take full advantage of our trip in Rome. 100% recommended.

Hotel Colosseum is located in the colosseum district and it's in a great location, close to the colosseum and St. Mary Major Basilica. Easy walk to many things! The staff from the front desk, to the breakfast and cleaning staff were all fantastic! They were very sweet and very helpful! We had a 2 and 5 year old with us and they were wonderful with them as well. The other nice thing was The quad room had two bathrooms and had a little more space in it than a traditional room in Rome, which was really nice since we had the kids with us! The roof top gives spectacular views. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean but really tiny. The bed was quite uncomfortable, especially the pillow. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is good but a nice improvement would be having tea cups. They just have coffee cups and they are too small for the tea. I brought the mug from the room. Unfortunately I couldn't see the roof since they told me that in autumn is already closed.

I stayed for one night and it was fine - room was spotless, bed comfortable, space was small but that’s pretty common in Rome! My one complaint would be how noisy it is in the morning - cleaning staff were banging around in the corridors and above from 7am (like really banging doors and so on!), and you can hear guests in the common areas too. This didn’t matter much for me since I was up early but it’s not a super relaxing hotel, is I suppose what I’m saying here.

Staff went out of their way to look after me when I broke my ankle during my stay there. They were happy to send ice packs up to the room regularly and to juggle bookings so iI would not have to move on too soon. Also, before that happened, they oriented us to the area and what was in offer there very well. All their restaurant recommendations were good. Room was large with windows in main area and bathroom. When both opened, couid cool the room with a crossbreeze. Breakfast outstanding and all staff friendly and helpful. This is not as fancy as the slick impersonal corporate hotels but I loved it.
