The hotel is only floors 20-24 of the Hitachi building. The reception is on the 20th floor. Elevators were very slow so take extra time when going in and out or up and down. The views were amazing and the sound proofing was excellent even though you were so close to Ueno station. The room was adequate size for Tokyo standards, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good black out curtains. Bathroom was small but standard. They provided pajamas which were very comfortable.

Reception is located on the 20th floor and guests rooms were on the 21st-24th. Very compact room but my window afforded me a direct view of the skytree tower, offering different mood from morning to evening. Breakfast buffet was adequate, offering more of a Japanese than western cuisine. Free beer and cocktails were being offered during late afternoon at the same breakfast area at the 20th floor. 7-11 at the ground floor of the building was so useful during my stay. Ameyoko shopping district is just a few minutes walk, and about 6 minutes walk from Nakaokachimachi Sta. Exit and Takeya Supermarket (offering delicious discounted bento near closing time). Room is cleaned only every 3 days, change of towels and robes they leave hanging on your door handle, you need to bring out your trash before 9 a.m. but toiletries (dental/vanity set, combs, shavers, shower mitten) are readily available for the taking beside the reception area or at the corridors of each floor beside the elevators . They're strict with the checkin/out time, but they'll gladly keep your luggage if you arrive early so you can start roaming. They granted my request for a very high room, furthest from the elevator. The corridor rug looks nasty, drab, sad looking with lots of stains. It needs overhauling imho.

Great location and the view. Walking diatance to Ueno station and park. Great view to see the city and skytree. Rooms are a bit small for the price. Breakfast is nice plus the free drinks/ cocktails at nights with the skytree lit view is great. Has 7/11 at grpubd floor and just across a row of restaurants and shops to enjoy at night

The view is fantastic. The room is very clean. It is very convenient to take the train or JR. If I will go to Tokyo again, I hope I can still stay in this hotel.

Quite big room compared to hotel room with its price in Japan. Lobby is on 20th floor. Room is great. Separate toilet and shower room. Train station nearby and 7-11 is just downstairs.
