Stunning hotel with the most comfy king size bed, incredible service and amazing food! We visited lots of places in Portugal but this hotel was one of the best. Our room was extremely comfortable and they provided a crib and baby bath for our 6 month old. All of the staff were so kind and helpful and were so accommodating of our baby and even offered to hold him while we ate. The rooftop terrace is stunning with incredible views and the food at the restaurant was amazing! The dinner was a bit pricey but one of our best meals in Portugal and the breakfast buffet was perfect. My only feedback would be to make the terrace off the room more comfortable with some greenery and comfier furniture Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Porto

Super beautiful hotel, very well decorated with a cozy and elegant atmosphere. Rooms are big, modern and with great views of Porto downtown. Breakfast is also delicious, and It's served in a charming room. Need to come again to enjoy the chic rooftop!

While it can be tricky to reach, don’t let its location fool you - the trip is worth it and the hotel more than makes up for it. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the king suite, which was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed at. Everything in the hotel was pristine; the room and bed were cozy and comfortable; the bathroom was stylish, with a shower with amazing pressure; and the breakfast buffet was diverse and tasty. A special mention to the staff - while sympathy and availability are common in 5-star hotels, it is difficult to toe the line between present and overbearing. That’s not the case here, we felt welcomed and catered to while left mostly on our own, which was great!

We had a lovely stay at das Virtudes. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by friendly staff offering to take your bags and get you a complimentary “port of the day”. The building is from the 16th century but was just renovated in May of 2023 so mixes old world charm with modern elegance. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the city. Rooms are large and comfortable. There’s AC (even in the winter). Many Portugal hotels turn their AC off in winter. There is a nice rooftop bar that is closed in the winter but the staff offered to bring us cappuccinos up to the roof where we could sit. You have an amazing view of the city and river from here. The location itself is about a 3 minute walk to the river and a 10 minute walk to the popular restaurants and shops. The bar in the lobby has top notch service and we frequented it often for a tea or a quick snack. The bartender even mixed up authentic sangria from scratch and offered to customize to our tastes. Just overall great service and super friendly staff. One of our favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed in. One caveat: the hotel is at the end of a dead end road and our Uber driver could barely fit down the road. Luckily there is a turnaround at the end though. It doesn’t look like there’s going to be a 5-star hotel at the end, but there is! Don’t let it scare your driver away. It’s well worth it!

We experienced the Christmas Eve dinner. The service was impeccable, the staff helpful, and well informed of the wines. Food presentation was excellent, interesting and delicious. I hope you can maintain your high standard. The best service we have experienced whilst living in Portugal.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
