We stayed here 6 nights. The room was a great size, had a central courtyard to go to and sit, hotel was modern and rooms well made every day. Location is unbeatable, close to the colosseum and war memorial, restaurants at the door and convenience stores. Jemma on reception was particularly lovely and helpful with tours, and helped us book an airport transfer cheaper than a taxi standard rate. Check in and out was quick, would stay here again.

No internet (wifi is there but not working). Not very clean, bed cover is a joke, there is a cotton layer with 2 sheets over and under. All plumbing and all toilet flushes can be heard all night long. Curtains have white stains (hopefully bleech). No bath products. Reception and hotel are at different buildings. The hotel sign is not clearly visible on the building. No breakfast. There is noone for late check in, so you should call the "office" and get the information for keys and directions. Very awful.

If I could rate it lower I would my first time in Rome was ruined! This was all down to the hotel de Rome in Rome Punch marks in our bathroom door, dirty bedding ( looked like pizza over our blanket provided in the cupboard) safe kept locking, the phone didn't work so if we was trapped in a fire we would get no help because the hotel desk is in a different building round the corner extremely annoying when we had to moan all the time about things not working and being dirty, there was leaks coming from shower, and the vent above the toilet was pouring water which someone tried to hide by shoving tissue in the vent!!!! Not sure how we was meant to clean it up as only provided one towel each when we shower morning and night! No iron or breakfast provided! Oh and nice big yellow stains on the ceiling above your your head in bed from old leaks. Lights didn't work, it's a small room too small awful nights sleep!!!So NO I will never return to Rome waste of 4 days and money hotel is a vile hostel prison! Oh and we was never moved or upgraded so thanks for being so useless!
