My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Dom Sancho I. In fairness, if you're the type of person that needs modern luxury at a hotel; this is not your hotel. HOWEVER, if you love a quaint authentic rustic feel plus the congeniality that one would expect staying at a nice bed-and-breakfast, this hotel is for you. Nestled in between the most luxurious stores in Libson (We're New Yorkers so IYKYK), this hotel is a diamond in the rough. We caught a late flight in and booked last minute for an extremely fair price. Alexandra was so sweet and she treated us like we were her family. Negatives: no amenities. Positives: it felt like the staff loves its guests and the price was great for the location. So if you prefer a warm experience near nice shopping, safe neighborhoods, and parks, this hotel is for you.

Fabio was great at the front desk! Very helpful and had great advice for tourists, he made sure we got the most out of our stay. Rooms are very cute and the building is beautifully up-kept. Would recommend!

For a certain traveler that enjoys historic, unpretentious hotels the Dom Sancho is a dream. Exquisite view from balcony overlooking the Avenida. Attractive breakfast room, unbeatable location: embassies and Van Cleef & Arpels next door for fabulous window shopping. Initially we were give a tiny interior room, but we insisted on a change. We were given the infamous 201 next to the lobby, but with earplugs it was fine and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also there is an elevator always a plus. Just book ahead for a room overlooking the Avenida. There are lots of charming restaurants around the corner within easy walking distance. We peeked into the Tivoli just across from the Dom Sancho, and were appalled by the tour buses outside and big soulless lobby thronged with Americans, a Mecca for mass tourism.

Nice centrally located hotel in a historic building with a nice little balcony in the room I was in overlooking the main avenue. Room was nicely appointed if a little old (wallpaper peeling in a few places, stuff like that) with firm bedding and a very functional if small bathroom. Breakfast was nice and goes till 10am with several options for meat, pastries and cereals to start the day. Easy 24/7 access and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If you don’t have a specific neighborhood or activity in mind and just want easy access to all Lisbon has to offer, Dom Sancho is a fairly priced and good quality option

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
