Really good place to stay at in Madrid. Quiet and nice neighbourhood, close to the metro and close to restaurants and groceries stores. Rooms are spatious and clean and the staff was always helpful, although communication with some of them can be difficult due to the language barrier (hence 4/5 stars). Breakfast is very very good, probably one of the best I had. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and it’s on the list when I return to Madrid.

We're enjoying our stay at the hotel. Very clean and the rooms are especially clean. Staff is wonderful helping to get you settled. Staff also helps us with our transportation around town and suggests alternate means of travel. Hotel bar and restaurant are excellent. They put a pretty mean gun and tonic.

The location is great, not far from airport. Close to the subway. Near restaurants. World class breakfast!! These people understand breakfast!! Will surely recommend this hotel

We spent four nights at the Elba Madrid Alcala Hotel as part of a city tour and we were very positively surprised. I would particularly like to highlight the following. The check-in was very relaxed, I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of the entire staff. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was pleasantly large and bright. The breakfast buffet was very good, extremely rich and offered something for everyone. Another plus point is the location. The hotel is somewhat decentralized, but there is a subway station just seven minutes' walk away. All in all, I can recommend this hotel without hesitation. Price performance is absolutely okay.

Payment in advance at check-in. Unhygienic bed sheets, defective toilet door (kept opening completely by itself and could also be locked), no toilet brush and a defective hairdryer. I asked at reception on the first day for this to be rectified. Nothing changed until my departure. Bar several days in a row without the usual last call instead rude ejection without reason. We were quiet and peaceful.
