Great stay, great location, room was super comfy, and clean. There was also a lift which was a big bonus. Staff were friendly and location is great! Would highly recommend. I stayed alone, but even with a partner i would go back

Very nice hotel close to train station. The area is quiet and the main attractions of the city can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The room was spacious, very clean and well lit. The charge per night is average considering the prices in Amsterdam.

The heating in our room was broken and it was freezing in the room ! Outside temperature was minus 7. The receptionist wanted to change us to a windowless room in the basement that smelled awful. They could not fix the heating so we could not sleep. The hotel refused to give us any compensation. Very bad experience! Do not go there.

This is the place to stay in Amsterdam! Brendan at reception was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the city and gave so many great tips for our visit! The hotel is in such an excellent location, the rooms are lovely (we had a gorgeous view!), there’s a lift (so handy and rare in Amsterdam!), great air conditioning in the room and the shower was amazing! Overall, I couldn’t fault our stay. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

I'm sure this would be a nice hotel if I was able to stay here - but they were so harsh and disrespectful when I asked for understanding based on my circumstance. I had to cancel my dream trip to India because of the visa ban for Canadians. So I lost thousands on flights and hotel cancellations - including my reservation here for my 2 nights in Amsterdam on return. This was the ONLY hotel that refused to provide any assistance with having to cancel my reservation due to the visa ban. In fact, they were so rude and cared only about their "zero cancellation policy". So - I'm sure this is a fine hotel, but they have a horrible business model that treats guests with so much indifference. No way to run a hotel or earn loyalty when a little compassion and understanding would have gone a long way.
