This hotel is AMAZING. The interior, the extended breakfast, free sake, everything is absolutely stunning! Location is super convenient & close to many of Kyoto’s famous spots. The only thing is because it’s on Shijo street, the music & announcements from the pedestrian walkway installation is a bit loud. Good thing is they don’t last till late night. Will definitely visit again!!

This was by far the most comfortable and conveniently located hotel of our 3 week trip. The ac worked great, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and easy on mornings that we got a late start. Best of all was the location. It's a 5 walk to the nishiki market, so you'll be right in the heart of the action in no time!

Very nice location, next to 7 eleven mart, located in the shopping district and a few minutes walk to Nishiki market. room is also huge brought 2 big suitcases + 1 carry one suitcase and still have more room to walk around our bedroom. They also have a laundromat which is handy to those who are travelling for a longer period. Would recommend to stay!

Take the elevator down with your suitcase from entrance to lobby, do not use the escalators. Escalators speed up when you step onto them. We had breakfast once and many people with suitcases almost fell and one person fell. Surprised that there is no emergency stop button. Would recommend hotel management to put a sign asking people to take elevator to prevent this from happening. Otherwise, it is an awesome location. Room was clean. Breakfast was good but there are also lots of local breakfast spots to try out! We did not use laundry in hotel as it was occupied and other reviews mentioned really busy. Only 2 machines in hotel. We went to laundromat down the street, we had a large load of laundry and got it all finished there. We packed laundry into a suitcase to wheel down the street easier.

Such a central location and family oriented. Many little touches were really nice like the sake for adults and cappuccino machine. It was also very child friendly and the bathtub was really nice. Don't forget to exit to the subway at least once from the lobby to see the Nintendo wall!

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
